I know this isn’t Niners-related, but this is heartbreaking. I just saw him on MNF a few days ago scoring a TD and now he’s gone? Only 24 years old… so sad. RIP.

  4. What the hell. I tried searching for what happened but they haven’t released the cause of death. I mocked him a bunch of times to the Niners before the draft. What a tragic loss, 24 years old!

  9. Hate the cowboys, not the players. Such a tragic loss, 2nd round pick, 24 years old, just scored a TD on Monday, must have felt like a million bucks. May his soul rest in peace and prayers to his loved ones.

    Edit: at the time I commented this, they didn’t announce cause of death, just rumors of a car accident.

  10. I didn’t know who he was until last night when I was watching the highlights from sunday’s game vs the Cards when he got the TD. That was like at 11:00 pm, wake up and see he was gone at 8:00 am. Prayers to the family……so young and talented.

  15. I know too many people, myself included, that are just barely holding on. This world is cruel. Can’t imagine being in the spotlight with millions of “fans” criticizing me. Maybe this should be something we as fans should look at and think about our comments on social media. These dudes are still people with real feelings.

  23. NFL needs to do more for their players. Can’t save everyone but this is outta control. Public campaigns are not enough.

  24. Don’t recognized his name but I watched the Cowboys vs Cards game and saw the punt block defensive touchdown play made by him. 

    Only 24. RIP young man.
