Why is he leaving? “Other opportunities” is vague. Im guessing he wants a bigger coaching role or even manager?
Sort of sucks that he’s leaving. Based on articles I’ve read, I know a lot of players viewed him as a positive impact to the team.
One of the all time greats. There will never be another like him. Nobody deserves a World Series victory more than him.

Seems like he was relegated to an advisor role so makes me wonder if he’s looking for a bigger role, if his voice wasn’t being heard, or if it was something else.
