  1. Everybody else has their most essential players, we don't. Bennet and Reinhart's responsibilities have grown with absence of Sasha and Chuck. Perhaps their not as good without those two? Marchand is good for a goal here and there but even he has his limits. Bob can only make so many unbelievable saves before he just breaks. If they don't make the playoffs, whatever as long they get enough time in the offseason to get healthy rested.

  2. Is Verhaeghe just getting unlucky, or is his shot less effective than it has been? He's down on average by a half-SOG-per-game; does he not trust it or is this just a sample size mirage?
