Ehhhh. 2 is a reach imo. We are very top heavy. Pulkkinen is in the ECHL. Bridgeport is not a good team and he’s in the ECHL. Not saying he can’t make a long career in the NHL but the number of skaters who played in the ECHL and had an impact in the NHL is minimal, even less so in the near future.
We have three borderline NHL prospects playing within our farm, Warren, George, and Tikkanen (ECHL) everyone else is AHL quality at best. I do like our college prospects, and our junior guys, and some are coming along very very nicely, but it’s hard to call us top 2 with the Bridgeport cupboard so bare.
I would like to think we’re somewhere around top 5. Which is INSANE. Considering if you circled back 2 years ago, we were inarguably sitting at 27-29 and with good reason.
