You can follow him at Tropical Blanket. He has the how to watch. So, make sure you check out on SI. That’s the Miami Heat site that we’re running in addition to a couple of others. But we’re going to do something kind of in the middle here. We’re also running the Memphis Grizzly site. Good timing on that one. Uh John Morant. John Morant has lost his joy. Specifically lost his joy. We’ve been through this before in this town and there’s a whole bunch of reasons for this. It seems like he didn’t like the offense last year. Although now the guy behind that offense, Noah Lar Ro is actually consulting with the Heat, which makes this conversation even more interesting since he didn’t like the offense that the Heat are currently running according to most reports in Memphis. It’s one of the reasons that Taylor uh excuse me, Tyler Jen Taylor Jenkins is not still the head coach in Memphis. But he doesn’t seem to have a great relationship with the current head coach either. The other day he said talk to the coaches. They’re doing some innovative things about minutes distribution and all of that. Uh but also Memphis has had injuries in recent years. They’ve made some interesting decisions. They did just get four first round picks for Desmond Bane. That’s looking for like a better trade for them than it is for Orlando so far. Bane’s been struggling. Uh but they’re not playing that well and they’re in a Western Conference where you get buried quickly. And so everybody’s talking about where Jock can go. And I can just tell you if you check out the ONSI sites, we’ve had a bunch of articles about possible possible possible uh teams that could get involved. One of which is Minnesota. There’s a whole bunch of others that have been discussed, but we’re just going to discuss it because this is a Heat podcast in the context of the Heat. And we’ll just start here, Alex. the metrics on Jaw before we get into the and you wrote a piece on this as well, but the metrics on Jaw even before you get into contract and attitude and off the court stuff, the on the court metrics for him have kind of been trending the wrong direction for the past couple of years is less at the rim. There’s less overall efficiency. What are you seeing? Is this still in your view if he’s in the right mindset? Because we know the Heat have rescued players before. They’ve done this was Pat’s thing for years and years and years. Scavenger, right? Tim Hardaway. Alonzo Morning didn’t want to be in Charlotte anymore. That was more a contract. Uh Dragage didn’t want to be in Phoenix anymore. Obviously, LeBron and Bosch chose Miami, but Jimmy had been in a couple different places. There’s all these examples of this stuff, right? So, this seems like the type of project that Pat would take on because the talent level was there. Is the talent level still there? I mean, yeah. I do think there’s still for sure a baseline level of talent with draw. I I think like what’s attractive about his game for sure is just the way that he’s able to get to the rim and you know he’s he’s always been a pretty strong playmaker. It’s just like you said like some of the stuff has gone down over the years and like if you just look at um his his big breakout year uh in 2022 when uh they made it to the second round he was I think all NBA second team that year. I I I got to double check that but I’m pretty sure that’s what it was that year. You know, just to kind of illustrate where things have gone since then, that year he put up about 10 shots at the rim per 75. This season, it’s almost half as much. And maybe and it it looks like some of it might be you know like it it might not last throughout the whole season but that is definitely concerning because like la for the last couple years it was between seven and eight you know which is of course you know a slight decline from the 10 he was taking before but five I if that keeps up the whole season that’s concerning because that is his primary like that’s that is what is attractive about him. Now the free throw attempts are still there, but that’s also gone down. Like it’s kind of hovered between uh seven free throw attempts per 75 throughout, you know, ever since he kind of blossomed into the player he was. He had the one season in 2022 where it was around nine. So that is a good sign like if you if you are considering, you know, like what Jaws still is that he he is somebody who can still get into the paint. But the true shooting percentage is so down this year. Like it’s I think you have to make a value judgment whether you’re the Grizzlies. Well, of course, if if you’re the Grizzlies on whether or not you’d even consider trading him, which there was something out today um that was reported, it seems like they’re they still think Jaw and Jiren is, you know, a duo for them and they want to build around them and add more to them. But look, man, like the the true shooting percentage, you know, diving by about six, seven, eight%. Like, it’s just not good. You know, when you when you bring down the the shots at the rim by half as much, it’s concerning. It’s it’s concerning. I I think it makes it tough for a team to potentially have to give up multiple draft assets or young players, which we can get into here about what it would take for the Heat to even consider this. But, you know, I I think the Jaw thing is is just in a it’s in a weird place right now. First thing, I’m contractually obligated by my daughter that anytime anybody puts the numbers six and seven together, I have to go, you know, 67 or whatever that is. Uh it is concerning. I looked at some of the numbers and I’ve watched him play obviously a little bit, seen the highlights and the bounce is still there. Um, but he has had injuries. There’s no I mean and that does take a toll and also I think that there’s been a lot of playing for himself um as I’ve watched some of this stuff. It doesn’t seem like he’s quite as connected to this group as maybe he’s been to past groups. I don’t know again if that is in relation the thing the thing with numbers is that’s kind of hard is you never know how the other factors are affecting it, right? Like so we see the raw numbers are the raw the raw numbers are the metrics are and you can’t really argue that there’s been a decline but I don’t know how much his dis dissatisfaction with things or with the system or anything that is playing into some of that. It’s hard you know it’s hard to really separate some of it but he is again on paper he’s the kind of player that a Riley regime would go for. The Heat have gone a little bit of a different direction here. They’ve got a lot of young players. I don’t know. Memphis just paid Jiren Jackson Jr. I don’t know which young players they would be interested in, particularly in the front court when they have Jiren Jackson Jr. and the Heat have a couple of young players in the front court that they might try to package in a trade to make a deal like this. Of course, the Heat are guard heavy. We know that. Um, I I again, we’re not going to shy away from the topic because it does feel like a Riley move from way back when, but I’m also having trouble processing going after a guy who doesn’t want to play the way that you’ve decided that you want to play. I mean, when you look at it that way, like if you got Jaw, and this is without us getting into the second half of the episode, we’ll get into who they would give up potentially. But if you got Jaw, would you scrap what you’re doing to accommodate him? I mean, he’d be the most talented point guard they’ve ever had or since Prime Hardway. They didn’t get Prime Hardway, though. Really? They got like after the knee injuries hard away. Um, would you scrap everything for a player like this? I don’t know about scrap everything. Like I like I think a lot of the, you know, just theoretically, of course, not getting into him not liking the system and all that. I think it’s ironically enough like some of the stuff he brings, you know, fits pretty well. Like it’s the driving kick system. He is a walking paint touch. You know, they’ve had DaVon and Hz as like their primary uh paint touch guys with other guys chipping in of course, but like I think Jaw for sure like with his ability to get to the rim, with his ability to pass the ball, which you know those stats haven’t declined. He’s been, you know, in the 98th or 99th percentile in assist percentage um every year. you know, like I think that part of it, you know, you can find a way to fit that in. But of course, then you get into the actual context of what actually happened. And he really likes his pick and rolls. And I think maybe you could find some sort of balance. I don’t know. Like that’s that might be easier said than done. But it does just make it like so much harder to consider what a heat fit would look like when it’s the exact same guy. It’s the exact same guy who was there last season and who was at least partially credited for that offense that they were trying to run before. all of them were essentially just dismissed like and you know the the rumors were there that Jaw wasn’t a fan of that stuff like he really likes his pick and rolls. He likes being able to control the game in that way and I I I get it to an extent. I I do think he maybe should have been a little bit more willing to work with it and it’s hard to find a balance between the two different play styles. You know, I I I get it. It’s a little tough when when he found so much success playing that way, but I do think theoretically he could fit. It’s just when you actually try to think about think it through not even getting to what you would have to give up which makes it all the tougher and we’ll get into that. But not even getting into that part of it, it’s like would he actually be down to find some sort of balance? Like has he changed his mind in any way about like what type of role he’s willing to play? Because I don’t think it means like oh he’s he’s going off the ball and he’s you know he’s deferring. Like I don’t think it has to be that stuff. It’s really just a play style thing. Uh, and I I do think his skill set, like as long as, you know, he’d probably be still touching the ball more than anybody else, you know, in a theoretical fit with the Heat. I do think it fits. It’s just I can’t I can’t really see this happening. Okay. Well, let’s get into that. Whether or not we could actually see this happening because that’s what what people want to get into. So, we’ll do that first. One thing that you want to get into obviously is your money without anybody else getting into it first, right? And I I don’t think it’s going to be them that ultimately gets this done. I think he’s going to get moved. I do. It’s just it’s trending the way that a lot of these things have trended. Um and now the national media is descended on it. Coaches being carefully watched. There’s a whole bunch of stuff that’s going on here. A lot of people didn’t think this particular coach was going to get promoted as it was. We know it’s a superstar league. They ultimately get what they want just like Jimmy got what he want, but usually what they get what what they want is out. And I I can see a team that’s desperate for to make a splash like a Sacramento something like one of those teams getting more involved than maybe like a team like Miami which yes has the structure for him. And I know Kendrick Perkins has said that and others, but not doesn’t necessarily need to do this right now in the course that they’re on. Okay. So, let but let’s get into what you could move for him. So, give us possibility one. So, like the one that was going around the other day from that Bleacher Report um trade idea was, of course, his name has got to be thrown in a trade idea. It’s Tyler Herro, everybody. And of course, like it’s and you know, the years change, the players change, but some things don’t change. Tyler Herald being in trade rumors, the Heat having like a stretch where they’re playing decent or well without him and people talking about maybe they can move him. Like that stuff is is back just in a different way now. And maybe it’s not as strong. It’s not as loud as it used to be, but it’s still there. And I think that the the hero thing, if you were to trade them straight up for each other, which it would work technically financially, and you know, the suggestion also had them, you know, having a trade exception in there or whatever. um you know that would get that would bring the heat not over and not only over the luxury tax but also the first apron. So that’s something that like I I cannot see happening. I don’t think the Heat are going to put themselves into that first apron for Jaw with everything going on with him. Uh it feels like Hero and Jaw’s trajectories right now are at a different place. Like Hero just came off his best season in the league. And I’m not saying whatever he’s better than Jaw. I’m not that’s I’m not saying any of that stuff. I’m just saying Jaw is like playing the worst basketball of his prime right now where Hero just got to his best. So, it’s a little bit of a tough thing. And also, like I just took a a gander at the onoff numbers there for for Jaw this season. And they’ve been better without him this year. And the the the minutes the minutes with like him on and him off are actually pretty close to each other. So, it’s a conveniently obviously still a small sample, but the two samples are are close to each other. And I think that makes it even more concerning because it’s like maybe that’s just and and maybe more likely it’s just like a it’s a it’s an effect of everything going on there and you know like it’s maybe it’s not who he is, but that’s it’s not good. And and what makes it even worse is that you think maybe that the drop off will come from the defense since he’s not known to be a strong defender. But most of that drop off in the in the net rating, which to be fair, they’re negative either way with him on or off this year, but the drop off comes mostly on offense. like their offensive rating gets worse by about six points per 100 possessions with him on the floor. That doesn’t make any sense. The guy is supposed to be a walking paint touch is one of the you know like very good playmakers in this league. That that is concerning. So like even if you don’t think that’s who he is and and I understand that it just makes it all the tougher for me to imagine a scenario where you have to give up Tyler and you’re putting yourself over the luxury tax. Um you’re putting yourself over the first apron, you know. Um, what I mentioned in the article that I wrote up a day or two ago was that, you know, if you threw in Simone Fontio’s contract and his $8 million, you know, he’s been cooking for them right now. Um, that would that would bring the heat to where they are right now, which is just below the luxury tax apron, which is where they where they want to stay, right? Uh, and I think that’s more doable, but even then, I don’t I can’t really see that happening. You you’ve taken a shot to your shooting then, too, right? I mean, you’re training Hiro and Simone. Right. Right. Well, let me just let me just cut in there and then we’ll get to some more possibilities. I I think I understand why Heat fans are going to this place because like you said, Tyler’s not playing right now. The team’s playing pretty well. Norm’s been great. There’s rumors about the Heat wanting to extend Norm. We’ve talked about those rumors prior to this training camp that they wanted to extend Norm. I still think they’re going to extend Norm. He hasn’t done anything to show that they shouldn’t extend him either on or off the court where he’s fit in beautifully as we expected. So, I think if you look at it positionally, you’re like, “All right, well, you don’t really know if the hero Powell thing is going to work.” I you and I both believe it can. I I think in their current system offensively, I think Brady believes the same that that this can work. They can be very good playing off each other. But we haven’t seen it. We haven’t seen it. And it’s more traditional to say, well, go get a high assist guy who gets in the paint and put him next to Norm Powell and you’ve got one of the better back courts in the East. I mean, I right. I mean, I don’t think there’d be any question. A Morant Powell backcourt from traditional metrics. I mean, tra or traditional setups that works. So, I get why Heath fans are saying that. And then they add to the fact that they don’t a lot of them don’t really want to pay Tyler what Tyler may want to get paid. And if you’re going to end up moving him anyway, well, why not get the Morant asset while you can? Um, there’s a question of whether Memphis would do this or not and what else you would need to throw into it. But I understand it from from the the Heat fan perspective. I just don’t think it fits. And I I don’t want to be that guy again who’s like, well, they don’t want to deal with a difficult player again. But I don’t think they want to deal with a difficult player again. They just they just got through this. I You have to take that into context. The the vibes are not everything, okay? They’re not. And I think talent matters more than chemistry. But they look like they’re enjoying themselves. They’ve got sort of an interesting young group. And then it’s like, okay, we just got out of the joyless division, right? And now we’re going to go back to get somebody else, right? It’s a good reference, right? They’re going to go they’re going to go out to go get somebody else who hasn’t found his joy somewhere else. and they’re going to hope they can sprinkle some heat culture on him and it’s going to work. And yes, that has happened in the past, but it’s usually short-lived uh even for them. We saw that with Jimmy. I mean, they got a few years out of it, which I guess is more than shortlived, but eventually it wore off with him. Probably will wear off with Jaw eventually. And does Spo want a deal does Spo just want the talent or does Spo like the fact that he likes coming to work right now? Because it seems like he likes coming to work right now. So, I I I think that and Tyler doesn’t change that for him. Tyler’s somebody he’s comfortable with, he’s worked with, he understand Tyler’s work ethic, he understands with Tyler, it’s just about ball basically. Um, and that’s that’s it. And so I I have a hard time for all of these reasons and the offense, which I do think is going to fit Tyler. The defense we know is another story, but it’s not like Jaw’s defending his ass off either. It’s not okay. So, right. And I don’t know that a jaw nor him back court would be all that good defensively as it is. I guess you’re keeping DaVon in that scenario. Um, and he becomes the third guard, but G, give me another one other than Tyler. Is there another way they could get there without giving him up? Yeah, technically. Um, that that’s when you get into like Andrew Wiggins’ contract because he’s making 28 mil this year. And, uh, just for reference, Jaws making 39. So, you can actually get to that with like a Wiggins Fontio package. Why would the Grizzlies do that? Obviously, they they wouldn’t do that straight up. would probably be, you know, um like for them to even consider something like that would have to be draft picks and young players involved, which makes it tough. Of course, you you could um theoretically replace like Fontio’s $8 million with um a couple of your young players. Like again, I’m not saying they’re going to be willing to do this or they should do this. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m just kind of pointing out the possibilities of stuff that that they could do, right? Like if you wanted to go Wiggins with I don’t know like Yoic and where technically you could do that, right? You know what I mean? Like if and there’s no draft picks involved or maybe there’s one draft pick involved. I don’t know. That doesn’t none of this sounds likely to me though because you can you can mess around with some of these like rookie scale contracts as sweeteners like Yovic, you know, his extension hasn’t kicked in this season, so he’s still on that, you know, um that 4 million or so, you know, Hakez where they’re all kind of in a similar range. And Casperis, I should mention, you know, who’s um who’s making just below four million. Casper might have some value in these scenarios. I I don’t think we should forget him. There’s also the possibility of of a three-way a four-way trade, but I think we got because we got to flip it back to Memphis. And now here’s a question. And Norm also fits into these um these uh these trades. And and and Norm is an expiring. So although the Heat look like they may extend him, being an expiring might have some attractiveness to other teams. Although the 26 class is not what we thought it was going to be. So I don’t know it has the value it would have. The the other part of this though is to look at it from Memphis’s perspective and I’m thinking to myself, okay, on the Tyler one, why would they do that? Like I I mean, you know, you have to pay Tyler, right? So you’ve already paid Jiren Jackson Jr. So you’re basically going to lock into Jiren Jackson Jr. and Tyler the way that Heat fans were afraid of locking into Bam and Tyler as your two frontmen of the franchise. That would be I I don’t know. I I that seems to me like that might be a non-starter for Memphis. And the Wiggins contract has a year left. So after this one, so he opts in. Oh, if he opts in, but he I don’t know. It’s $30 million. He might get advice to opt out. I It’s It’s close to the line, but I mean, espec contracts and all that, he might get a little bit more, but it’s close. I don’t think he will. He’s He’s He’s on the other side of 30 now. I I don’t know. I mean, he I I like some of what he’s done this year, but people know he’s not a buildaround player at this stage. You’ve got to kind of have the right program where he can kind of be your third or fourth guy. Um, and and you aren’t paying the other two guys that much. It’s It’s tough to pay him $30 million as a third if you have two maxes. So, I I’m just looking at all this I’m looking at from Miami’s perspective. I’m looking at from Memphis’s perspective, and all of this is telling me I don’t see a fit even with these other teams. I don’t see like a play style fit. I don’t see a contract fit. I don’t see a personality fit. But then I also have been around long enough, as you know, um, to have seen the Heat shortcut the process. And this would be a way to shortcut the process. They’ve done it. Pat has done it over the years. Um, if they feel like they have enough in terms of these other supporting players and Bam’s still there, I could see them talking themselves into it that, okay, you’re going to get a talent like this. His value is down. There’s not a lot of attraction to him. He’s going to go for a lot less than Desmond Bane did, and he’s a better player than Desmond Bane when he’s right. Okay, I mean, we know that. And so it’s kind of like, okay, c could could you could you basically scoop him up, make the thing work, give him to spo, change your play style again, you have enough still on hand to make things happen. You’re not trading Hz possibly. So now we’ve seen him pop. I mean, there’s just there’s more possibil. So I’m not going to rule it out for that reason, but I’m having trouble making sense of both sides or even with the third team getting involved. What What would you put I mean I don’t I’m going to let you do this cuz so you get aggregated. I mean I I think this is less than 25% if that I right I I don’t I don’t see it. Yeah. I think 25 even might be generous like for 100% agree with you that like it seems like there’s just too many like question marks here with you know like you mentioned the play style where the stuff like you know it’s literally the same guy who was a part of that coaching staff that got dismissed. um the even though again like I do think you know there there’s some potential for what he can do in a system like that and you could find you know a balance I just I don’t see I don’t see it happening like the heat historically have gone for guys like this um when they’re at a you know like their price and maybe like Jaw can that he can get into that but again like the the reporting is also a little bit you know like it’s hard to follow at times because it doesn’t it doesn’t seem like the Grizzlies want to move on from Jaw. But then it’s like if this continues, maybe they’re forced to change their mind and they just, you know, it becomes untenable to bring back a word that we said a lot last season. The whole find my joy thing. Like there’s a lot of parallels. Obviously, you know, go like, as you know, the Heat and Grizzlies have traded with each other so many times throughout the years. I looked it up and they’ve the Grizzlies have uh pulled off the second most trades with the Heat. Um, and it’s been six in over the last 20 years or so. So I’m not, you know, like and and that’s with two different uh two different regimes on through different Yeah. And so look, I’m not saying on the Grizzly side, obviously the but it’s just like it feels like the Miami Yeah, it does. It feels like a move they would have made, but it does feel like an awkward fit. Now, uh, you know, the other thing to take into consideration is here is there’s this backdrop with both Memphis and New Orleans where, let’s just leave it at this. There’s skepticism that those teams are doing what’s in their best interest at this point. Like expansion’s on the table. The NBA wants to get teams to Seattle and Vegas. And I mean, Dumar was put in charge. Well, not put in charge. He was hired in New Orleans, but he was at the league office. They’ve done some really strange things of late. Those are two very small markets that are struggling. Memphis had tickets the other night on tickpick for two bucks. Okay, there is. So, we talk about Jaw and typically Jaw would be the kind of player that you would hold on to to just like Zion and New Orleans like to have something to hold on to to bring the fans there, but it kind of feels like the organizations are going the other way. So, I I’m not convinced Jaw’s going to stay there. I I could see their pocket being picked now by a Sacramento by nobody Sacramento. They’re going to ask for picks and young players though. I think that’s what’s going to muddy things whether between the Heat or not. Like I think I could see a Sacramento trading for him and you know people have talked about Minnesota. You know, I could see some I could see the the idea there. It’s just it’s going to require like the the Grizzlies are going to ask for a lot and I think that’s where things get really tough. They’re going to ask for a lot. I don’t know even though Miami has more assets now than they had before the season started. Like Hawkins is an asset now even though he’s going to have to get extended. like that’s he was not an asset this off seasonason. We we talked about him as eh a throwin. He’s not a throwin with the way he’s playing. Um and actually he would fill a need for them. So I mean but again his contract at this point prior pre-extension doesn’t uh doesn’t match. But I I just again as we close this we’re not going to ignore this story. We’ll do the research on in the background. Um, I I have never heard anything like I’ve heard with the Heat and Trey Young where I just know that the Heat don’t love Trey as a player collectively. I mean, I it’s not everybody, but it’s key people. Um, I I I’ve never really heard that about Jaw, but I just I the the declining metrics and just like, do you want to deal with this again? Like I I I keep getting back into that. Like I I sort of feel like they want to see how far they can carry this thing and then try to find the right piece instead of finding the scavenger piece, the devalued piece. This guy was a top 15 player in the league three years ago. Like he was I I you can’t argue with that. He was on all those lists. He was second team all NBA. That’s a top 10 player in the NBA. So we’re going to discuss that would be a big difference in in philosophy, right? like what you’re what you’re outlining there is like instead of going for the devalued piece who you know there’s all these flaws we’re pointing out and question marks even with the potential upside like that that’s a shift in in philosophy if that’s the case if if they’re just like hey we’re going to wait for the right star and we’re going to be willing to pay that price and not like try to get a distressed asset a guy who might come at a discount like we’re talking about maybe happening with Jaw that’s that’s quite a significant philosophy change if that’s the case it it is but I also have to take into context that They just got Norm Powell for nothing and I so and they were patient, right? And then a team called them and offered a player who was a 20point scorer who’s going to be a 20point scorer this year for basically again nothing because they had an ulterior motive which is they didn’t want to extend him and they thought Beiel was going to become available and that doesn’t look so good right now. Uh but again look at look at what look Orlando made a decision. We got to get Desmond Bane to improve our shooting, right? Like that’s our missing piece. They gave up four first round picks. I understand that a couple of the first round picks were tied to them getting off contracts, but they like KCP, but they gave up four first round picks. The Heat gave up nothing. Nothing for Norm Powell, who has been a better player than Desmond Bane to start this season. And not even a second round pick, no players, no rotation players even, I guess, Kyle Anderson, nothing. And he fans were complaining about them giving up a second to get off a highmith. Like they gave up zero. So, in that context, you can start to see why maybe being patient doesn’t mean something’s going to fall to you, but it they were in position to make this move. Um, but yeah, philosophically, the old Riley way would have been, okay, how unhappy are you, J? Well, we’re going to make you happy and that’s that’s the way they used to do things. I don’t know that that’s the way they do things now. I I don’t. And especially, like I said, after they finally got out of the joy division or the joy list division. Uh, Alex, appreciate it. Uh, use use the code five fivix. Use the code secure 10 and cash out. We’ll have coverage of the uh, nuggets and heat going live again tonight. Have a good one, everybody.
(Recorded before Heat-Nuggets) Stop us if you’ve heard something like this before: Ja Morant has lost his joy in Memphis. This is the type of move the Miami Heat would make in days gone by. Should they look at it now? Ethan and Alex discuss all the variables.

That’s why I stopped watching you guys you guys would trade Tyler hero for a bag of chips homegrown player. Every chance you guys try to get rid of him just plain sad you guys are weak. No need to watch this no more.
I lost my Joy after this roadtrip
I dont care how good the new offense is. A team full of role players isnt winning you anything. Figure it out.
@8:10 bingo💡
Why not make a better scenario like Jaquez, Jovic and draft picks
He makes sense if they are not selling him as Giannis. If they are looking for an arm and a leg. Will never happen. Good player with lots of red flags.
I've been listening to this show for what seems like a decade but I'm just wondering why it still sounds like you're recording it in your mom's basement
Something none of you are talking about. Heat might just want to sign Trey and ride with him and Bam. That would the smartest move. Keep all your assets get a player who you know can make Bam way better.
Jovic needs to be involved in whatever trade for JA thats all i know . But we definitely should go after JA
Ja is more talented than Herro and fills a position we desperately need. Morant for Tyler is a no-brainer
Sure we could use a less talented Jimmy butler lol
LETS GO HEAT. JA and the Magic City, both explosive and showtime. It make sense for him, or at least from this point. He is not getting younger and he is an explosive player of medium size. Having this MIAMI HEAT TEAM around. Plenty of shooter to open the space for him, keep him fresh and ready. Add years to his posible career length, in a nice place were he do not pay L T. And IF, this mature decision is make with the right goal.Could the free $pace from Terry and a little help made it happen? LETS GO TEAM !
Can we just not have another Jimmy in waiting situation ….. so sick of bratty whining mega millionaire man children.
All up for a star but can we just wait for someone to be for the culture???
The Heat doesn't need another troublemaker in Ja. If he came here,he would get into more trouble, and disrupt the team.
Obligatory content.
I would want the Heat to pursue Trey Murphy or Brandon Ingram over Ja Morant using Wiggins contract and other assets. 🤷♂️
I hope to god Ja doesn’t come to the Heat…he’s just like butler…wants the ball in his hands all the time….plus he’s not a great role model off the court….
Everyone loves to hate Ja, until they want to trade for him on the cheap
