That’s gotta be a tough spot for Rome. All things said, he acquitted himself quite well (not that he needed to, his dad was being non-sensical)
Imagine asking Rome, what did you tell your’e dad. Fucking reporters
He’s such a pro even in year 2
Poor Rome. Let’s have a bounce back game on Sunday.
He’s great at speaking and articulating his thoughts. Its my favorite non football skill he has.
Might want to let your dad know then.
I do feel for Rome and Caleb, both dealing with dad’s who talk too damn much about what is going on in the game.
He’s been such a pro since day 1. I hope he retires a Bear with every WR Franchise record.
That’s crazy work asking how a conversation between father and son went.
Imagine bitching about your NFL son’s targets when he leads the team in targets in his 2nd year
I love this man
Rome seems like a cool person.
This man will have a long career in media after he is done with football.
I read, 15 had the worst pff of any Bears offensive player v Bengals.
I watched the game twice. 15 was one of the best run blockers on the team. His performance was legendary.
PFF ratings are football bullshit.
Class act while handling that difficult situation
Damn, he’s a natural fielding those questions. I’m sure he’s had plenty of training but he’s also naturally at ease.
This was the most professional way this could’ve been answered. Hollywood level media training.
He’s #1 on one of the most storied and legendary teams in the NFL. His dad should eat a chode.
This reminds me of when they kept asking Lonzo Ball about the crazy shit his dad would say. Why is it Rome’s responsibility to speak for his dad?
Stop asking players questions for clickbait content instead of asking them relevant questions about the sport!
Dude him and Caleb both. I am thankful we’ve got two, mature, chill dudes hopefully being leaders on this team for a long time. Love to see this kind of respectful answer to a stupid question from our young guys. As per usual our media sucks.
Yo, for reals, that is a handsome man.
Rome is so awesome.
Its really a very minor issue but you would hope his dad sees its just a distraction and cooks it.
Then again Mahomes has a bunch of worse family and he is still great.
Rome and Tyson’s dads both need to chill
Dude Rome. What a good egg man.
WAY beyond his years. Don’t be held back brother.
Here’s the truth. Are you making the maximum coin possible for you and your future family? Anything short is noise.
Do right by you and your family Rome. MONEY WISE
This kid is awesome. Very mature and always bringing great energy. I hope he’s a Chicago Bear for a very long time.
A lot of these athletes’ success is not just life-changing for them but for the rest of their family as well, many of their parents never had the chance to be properly educated and learn the importance of etiquette. Hopefully, that’ll change with the generations to come.
Dude is literally my favorite player, he will be my next jersey. He is so respectful, and calm man, and plays like a beast whether he’s getting the ball or not. Love Rome.
If you have kids in youth sports, you know this is going to be a trend with pros for a long ass time
Parents are fucking insane. The parents of my nephews flag football team are currently mad at the coaches scheming on offense
My nephew is 9
Rome genuinely seems like such a good kid. It’s super easy to root for him.
You need to tell him to shut his mouth. You gotta be old enough to remember what Odell’s dad did to his legacy.
First I’m hearing about any of this. What’s the tl;dr: on why his dad said?
