NHL Highlights | Senators vs. Bruins | November 06, 2025

They drop the puck and away we go. Second meeting 
of the season between these two division rivals and we got icing right off the hop. Senators 
still missing their captain Brady Kachchuck who is here in the building tonight but he’s 
out for at least another month as this one is sent to the front of the net. Omar couldn’t 
freeze it. Aar held the puck a little long and that allowed Geeki to come in and nearly swipe 
it. Sheru now. Pinto to the middle. They score. A twoon one coming in from the blue line off 
the rush. Senators won. Bruins nothing. Yeah, breakdown in coverage on the back check. There 
wasn’t really much going on in terms of the rush. The Bruins should have bodies. People should be 
picked up. You try to stand up at the blue line, but the back check is late. The twoon-one 
develops and it’s well executed. Nice little lead pass by Pinto. Catch and release 
by Amario. Short side, glove side. Eller stripped to the puck. Rimmed back. 
Here’s Peak. Let’s make an Ottawa defend. Up ahead. Here’s Geeky. Watched by Jensen 
around the check. Shoots off the post. Oh, that would have been pretty. And there, you know, 
the guy that can score goals. I mean, that’s a great se second effort. Bustadino to posture now 
waiting for a little help toi shoots the stop given away. Bruins have a guy breaking up ice pass 
grabs it shoots the stop and he’ll sweep it in for a faceoff and Makavoy to Arbitson. Little space. 
Saka fires and Hallmark fought it off and then covered up back of the net. Now Arbitson gets free 
from some traffic. Yoki Haru shoots and Hallmark loves it. Lindol to the right side. Jano shoots. 
Hallmark the save that almost snuck through. Lynholm Pete shoots into the glove of Omar. 
Yeah, good face off win set play. Bruins just couldn’t get any traffic to the front of the 
net. It’s welldesigned play. Good faceoff win by Castle on a strong side. He’s two of the best 
faceoff teams in the league. Ottawa number one, the Bruins number four. Lynholm stops 
up, shoots, blocker aside by Mark Peak, but he plays his roll well. This puck sent on 
net and stopped by Corposello on the blocker. Zub floats one in. Bruins cut it off. intercepted. 
Sanderson a long shot sucked in by Corposal against Zaka. Sanderson dusts it off. Plays it 
to Bathson. Long shot kicked out by Corpusel. Lots of traffic there. I don’t know if you 
saw that, but that little chip pass to get it beyond Shabbat was effective. Looked 
like it was going to work. Maybe a twoon one for Boston. Shabbat picked it out of midair. 
Sweeping his stick at him. He fires. They score. Morgan Geeky took that rebound off the plumbing 
and stuffs it home. Bruins win a puck on the for check. That’s the goal scorer right there. Morgan 
Geeky forces the turnover. The Bruins defense are awake. They’re after they shorten up in the 
offensive zone and it’s an accurate drive. blocker side gets under the arm of 
Lenus and good stick and good determin rips it up the middle and gets brought in 
by Geeki. This shot off the mask of Omar back of the net. Pinto. He set up the opening 
tally by the Senators. Zoo across. Sanderson fires going high blocker in this one over the glass. 
He’ll leave it up top for Matt and Paulo. Sent out in front off the post after it redirected off of 
Cousins’s leg. Couldn’t drive it between some legs and Drew the other way. He’ll throw it on net for 
sends it to Yoki Haru across the post Jano. Aspo across Yoki Haru that shot off the post may have 
been tipped on its way in Aspo. Big bodies protect bucks. Win your battles. Get pucks and bodies to 
the net when you have the opportunity as you know. Just cruising through that slot. Gets the redirect 
of a very p purposeful snapshot by Yoki. How are you? Changes direction. Changes a quick up for 
Cousins. Stouts shanked out in front and then Corpus stuck out the right toe. That’s such a feel 
good for a player. Middle stack shoots. Sucked in by Omar. And we’re going to have a penalty 
here after Matt and Paulo and Clo Jeru. Yeah, I think it’s going to be a cross check up 
high right at the tail end of the play. There it is. Middlestep pulls up. He’s looking over his 
options, but he’s in it off the glass. Jano Gloves Andrew Peak back on the ice. 
That’s a good sign. Carelli fires. He said it had been too long since he crashed into 
the A clean play coming in the offensive zone. And there’s the Senators overcommitting to the puck. 
That means somebody’s open or the Sean Carelli coming right down the slot. Protect the puck. Find 
the open man. Top shelf, glove side, short side. That’s a thing of beauty for Cari. It’s his second 
of the season. The first was an empty netter. And it’s flipped ahead. Castlick behind. 
Everybody walks in. Shoots. Omar. The stop. That puck was on edge. Mackoy right 
of the net. Chiseled out in front. We played almost 5 minutes here in the third. 
Bruins two. Senators one. Long shot. Corposal. Stick save. Gloved down by Middlestad. Off the 
glass and out. Now Pinto. Oh, he lost it up high, but the Bruins couldn’t snag it. Otherwise, they 
might have been away. Pinto out in front. Corposel that one with two saves. Defensive. And now 
it’s back in their own zone. But again, a second opportunity to manage the puck and they mismanage 
it right here. They allow. Let’s one versus three and P had a draw penalty. And now charging ahead. 
Here’s Lyn Holm. Stops. Shoots Homer. The same rebound. Jeru. Piran in skates. Jeru up top. Peron 
fires. Corposal the save. The rebound set wide. Heler threw it down low. Giru had some net there on that second chance. Senators 
get the puck. Here’s Shabbat. Piran Giru shoots. Cryel the save. They 
score. That puck slipped through and the Senators just as the penalty was expiring 
even the game at two. Well, you feel like the Bruins put themselves in this spot. You 
know, we talked for the first six minutes they were allowing Ottawa too much puck possession, 
too much time in the offensive zone, you know, and then they get a little something going. 
They draw the power play. They mismanage the puck with the power play and then they end up 
getting into a fouron four situation. And Otto was able to tie the game by just getting a puck 
to the net. Shot from the half wall just as the power play was winding down and it just had eyes. 
Post. Oh, Cleven looked like he had the the clamps on Post. Cleven without a stick. Geeky centered. 
Omar the save. He’ll peel back. Senate to Zaka. S her to post shoots. Homer the stop for 
the rebound. Cousins changes still stuck on the ice. Shabbach shoots. Corposel the 
save and it’s trapped in the right leg pad. That includes one tonight. Geeki winding it 
up. Scoots in. Sora fires. Hit it wide. Long pass to Hustadino. Mitten in flight. left circle 
shoots. It didn’t get to back of the net. Mitten mitten comes back. Bruins have changed out. Geeky 
twoon-one across. Post shoots. Offensive guys you want on that two-on-one. Geeky and Posa. Nice 
lead pass. Tape to tape. There’s the diving slash on the puck carrier. Greg will go to the 
box and the Bruins with 41 almost 42 seconds. Ottawa gets possession. Flipped out in front. 
Pinto and it’s kicked out by Corposello. Knocked free by Mackoy. Senators are going to get it 
from off the wall. They almost have Pinto by himself. Well, they do have him by himself in 
front of the net for the middle. Right at the net. Shoots. Tapped just wide by Zaka. 13. 
Back boy around to check. Centered the score with 6 seconds left. Po Zaka stumps it home. 
Bruins victorious in overtime over the Senators. Three to two. throws are able to get possession 
and here he goes one-on-one. Sanderson’s a very good skater. He sends up Zach and that doesn’t 
quite connect. He retrieves the puck, cross it over, protect the puck, he shakes Pinto, and 
even though he doesn’t complete his pass again, this time looking for Zach on a similar play. 
It goes into the crease area and Omar cannot hang on to this puck. It’s just going to lay 
right by that left pad underneath him. and Zaka no give up on the play. Get to the paint, 
find the puck and bury it. Just jam it home in the final. 6 seconds. The Bruins avenge their 
worst loss of the season. And they do it in the waning seconds of overtime. Pavle Zaka the 
gamewinner and the Bruins have won five straight. Sophia, Billy, and Barry coming up next.
