Yall gotta stop with our 26 first. It’s not ours anymore so we have to move on. James Pierce Jr and Xavier Watts are worth every single option that would be idk pick 7-16. We’d be able to take 1 player to replace a starting saftey n a legit star PROSPECT!!! He is a child man. He always was going to need 1-2 seasons to get used to the NFL Offensive Tackles Size/Speed/Strength… young edge rushers usually don’t ball right away(unless they are 265 and also fast.) everyone else needs adjustments.
Look at these stats tho!!
They are getting better weekly and Jalon is coming into his own. We need to start worry about clearing cap. Needs at WR/CB2/Nose Tackle so damn bad. I wanted Deone Walker so bad.
LB depth is also a need.
Not trading Allgeier will be so dumb. 5th rounder could be used to move up or get a Vet. He isn’t resigning considering he can start for idk 8-12 teams today without going through them.
Do we resign Pitts at a slightly overpriced contract because someone will overpay him.
We have to find a way to get rid of Zac Rob at all costs..yes we need to rid of Raheem too but at minimum ZRob similar to the terrorist Jimmy Lake

I get that stat is good, what does it mean?
A wildly unobjective stat applied to a very limited pool of players.
When the company line goes from who cares it’ll be a late pick, to who cares it’ll be a pick in the 20s, and then who cares about a pick in the 10s, to so what if it’s a top 10 pick…
It just feels empty. Like it can’t be bad no matter what even if the justification now is at complete odds with the previous justification
I’m happy with the defense.James pierce jr is worth it. It’s the offensive play calling I’m worried about. Plus Raheem. It’s so bad I want Arthur to sell the team. It’s like we’re just a stepping stone for the NFL
It’s a fair point. But if the pick ends up in the top 10 and you don’t have it it’s a sign that the team is not where it should. We’re in deep trouble
Pearce has been solid and I think he has the potential to be an absolute game wrecker over the next couple of years. But I’m happy to have him on this team. If he does become that guy, this trade will probably be a win win for both teams.
Unless there is someone objectively better as a prospect than Pierce, I don’t mind that we swapped our 26 pick to take Pierce in 25.
I’m gonna hold judgement to see which new DC we bring in. I’m concerned they bring in someone who tries putting him at OLB or some shit
People do act like we traded the first for a vet. Even with the team being a disappointment the pick was used on a rookie at a premium position. It can still pay huge dividends.
ya’ll delusional as hell. trading a potential top 10 pick in 2026 which is considered a fairly strong draft for a very late first round pick in the 2025 draft which was considered very weak and appears to have been even weaker than originally thought is a massive downgrade no matter how you try to spin it. plus let’s be honest with ourselves, how many games do we think we can honestly say we won or will win because of james pearce this season?
Some of you are ridiculous. Sometimes you have to take a risk. Based on roster construction, there is NO reason this team should be drafting in the top 10. I get why they made the trade and I’m good with it. JPJ and JW both have the ability to be pro-bowl or all-pro level players, and that’s all you can ask for. We FINALLY addressed the defense, that is currently performing well above expectations (4th in total yards, 12th in sacks with 1-2 games less than most teams above them). If we addressed the kicking situation properly and had a coach worth a shit, this team would be playoff caliber.
But that pick could be anything, even a player as good as JPJ!
