Kyle is the only receiver that’s been playing on the roster that has showed no real connection with Drake. He played a lot of snaps last game and I don’t think registered a catch. We have a crowded receiver room and it could be, he’s just not getting enough practice reps with Drake.
However, that changed this week. Vrabel even said this is his opportunity. With Boutte out of the way, it opened it up for him to get more reps, especially if he’s going into the game as the starting X.
Will Kyle use this opportunity to start the process of winning the X away from Boutte, or will he fade away and become another Patriots receiver bust, he will answer us with ability this Sunday.
It may be early, but I truly believe his performance of the in this game will determine the outcome of his career. Either he shows something, or he’s done. There is no other way.

Bro had no other options in fantasy
Boutte is not going to lose his position. He’s been statistically the top deep ball threat in the league. I think this game is Kyle’s chance to prove he belongs in the rotation.
Biggest game of his career, so far…
I hope
No way, people said the same shit about Polk every week last year. And the same thing about Thornton years before that. And the same thing about Harry years before that. Let me see him at least get three to four catches before I think he’s going to go off on anybody. He was on the field for 31 plays last week and did nothing.
If anything you will see another big pop Douglas or diggs game.
I mean, the bars on the floor
Technically if he gets 13 receiving yards it’ll be his biggest game of his career yes. They are practicing to get more in synced with each other, not that Williams will be the star receiver this coming game.
That won’t take much he’s been disappointing
Post this every week. Eventually you’ll be right.
Idk about Sunday but maybe TNF
Well, at least he gets a whole week of reps strictly with Maye as a starter and hopefully was staying late to work on timing and chemistry with him.
I expect more catches for Pop deep, A lot of up the middle for Diggs and the TEs, Williams on the outside hashes like Boutte and a healthy dose of screens to Henderson.
If Williams went 4 catches for 60 yards and a TD I’d be insanely stoked!!
Kids a 3rd round rookie WR. Got plenty of time to get good. Pretty sure its not his career defining game.
Idk… we’ll probably run a lot of 2 TE. Hollins and Diggs will be out there and pop will be the slot on occasion
Spoiler-it was not the biggest game of Kyle Williams’ career.
Knowing OP’s track record, the outcome will be exactly the opposite as they predict. Either Williams won’t do shit this game and goes on to become a good receiver, or this is a one-hit wonder game for him.
Or…he continues to look completely lost out there with 0 catches. But I really hope he proves me wrong and figures it out.
Well he needs like barley over 10 yards to do that 😂
When you make a post and Reddit forces you to categorize it with those flair tags – Casual, Serious, News, ect- is Hyperbole an option?
I mean I’m not completely given up hope for Williams, but at the same time I’m wondering when will we learn to draft wide receivers. Every year we pass on guys that become stars and see our Harrys and Polks fail miserably.
I’m sure McD has changed his offense blueprint quite a bit from TB12 days, but his scheme tends to be a difficult one to grasp. So I’m not shocked a rookie is not getting play time. I was excited when he was drafted. He has a terrific top end speed. I’m keeping my expectations low, but I’d be thrilled if he has a 4 catches for 50 yards kind of a game
It’s still incredibly early in his career, rookie WRs historically struggled in JMD offenses. I’m not going to write off a WR halfway through his rookie season because of that.
1/5 for 9 yards
Seeing Jaylin Noel who I wanted at that slot start to sort of come on in Houston is making me nervous. I hope OP is right
2 catches on 5 targets for 12 yards. Revenge game incoming.
I’m anticipating 2 balls thrown his way that he’s wildly out of position to make a play on
