New scoreboard and other improvements coming to Camden Yards
I went to Camden Yards the other day for the introduction of new Orioles manager Craig Alberes and got a look at the construction going on at the ballpark. In case you haven’t heard, Oral Park is getting a new scoreboard in 2026. The team said in May that it’ll be the 12th largest in MLB. Underneath that scoreboard will be a new standing room bar called Scoreboard Social, which will hold up to 300 fans. The space will be available for private events and open to all fans when it’s not booked. The field is also getting resided after the LA Rams practiced here in October. Construction of a new premium club situated behind home plate is also underway. The press box will be bumped one section over. The money for these projects is coming from the state, which promised the team $600 million in potential bonds to upgrade the stadium. Read more at the banner.com.
