I feel pretty depressed about the state of things, which is saying something because I somehow didn’t feel as bad when we were losing in OT.
They just completely lacked compete yesterday. It felt like the first three games of the season all over again.
I know Kulich and Zucker will be back soon (hopefully before we get manhandled by Carolina on Saturday), but it just feels like we are chronically one injury from being in tank for McKenna mode.
A lot is on coaching imo. Appert can’t coach a powerplay and Lindy said all he needed to putting Krebs on the 1st line… Let’s try to get Tage going by putting him with Krebs… UPL needs to go as well, don’t need 3 goalies, and the penalty he took was the last straw for me from him.
Surely Adams will take care of one of those things, right lol?
Tage and Greenway tried some things last night. Nothing really helped but at least they tried.
Tuch and Dahlin looked utterly disinterested. You can’t have two of your “superstars” and so-called leaders playing like that and expect to break this playoff drought.
The standard can’t be this low and coaching needs address it. But of course they won’t. Buckle up because this is going to be another rough November.
