This is the best part of Paolo. He draws free throws for days. Edit: He just bricks a lot of them unfortunately.
That’s actually pretty incredible to be that much higher than everyone else
He gets bailed by foul calls let’s be real he needs to play more efficiency and stop making stupid plays. It’s like he puts to much pressure on himself. Dude is 6’10 260 and he makes the game way harder than it needs to be. He should basically be playing like Giannis but he tries to play like Kevin Durant.
Don’t bring up the fouls because he gets one of the best whistles in the association.
Too bad as soon as another defender helps be either loses the ball or take a contested shot
Needs to hit more And1s and put away some teams instead of missing free throws
SGA CAN SUCK IT THIS YEAR BOI !

I do not like his free throw stance it does not look smooth in setup or motion, to me he needs a straighter upward stance and a little wide foot spacing, if current motion looks all bunched up and stiff
Trade Paolo
We all know Paolo is an absolute beast. Anyone turning on him is just sad
Drawing fouls alone is not necessarily a good metric to make any judgements on.
Defenders and coaches will let a player get to the rim and foul him more often than not to force a touch shot or put him on the line where he’s less than perfect.
Until he improves at the FT line he’ll keep getting 1 on 1 attention because it’s a smarter play than directing another defender to double team and leave someone open elsewhere on the floor like Franz.
He’s a 6’10” battering ram. Most guys do NOT want to see him in the post and every time he takes a shot, it lets them off the hook. It’s similar to guys like Giannis and Embiid.
He’d draw less fouls if he could actually consistently hit his free throws. Thats the part of his game that I wanted to see develop this season.
