RAIDERS DIDN’T EXPECT UH EXPECTED SO MUCH FROM THE BRONCOS AND THAT’S WHY BO NICKS WAS TALKING ABOUT BEING BOOED AFTER THE GAME. BUT WE’VE SEEN IT FROM THE BRONCOS, MULTIPLE TIMES THIS YEAR. WE SAW IT IN LONDON WHEN THEY PLAYED THE JETS, A FEW WEEKS AGO, IT’S AMAZING. THE BRONCOS ARE ON THIS 7 GAME WINNING STREAK WHEN NUMBER 1, A LOT OF THE GAMES HAVE BEEN OBJECTIVELY, WINNABLE. NUMBER 2. THEY HAVEN’T LOOKED LIKE A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM, IN A LOT OF THESE OBJECTIVELY WINNABLE GAMES YET. THEY STILL HAVE FOUND A WAY TO WIN THEM. AND THIS IS THE OTHER REALITY OF FOOTBALL, OKAY? AND THIS GETS TO THE BOOING. FANS HAVING AN ALIENABLE RIGHT TO SHOW UP IN BOO. NOW THERE’S A LINE THAT BUYING A TICKET TO A SPORTING EVENT. YOU STILL SHOULDN’T CROSS. IT’S NOT A BIRTHRIGHT. TO GO BE A JERK TO SAY HATEFUL THINGS TO SAY, AWFUL THINGS TO SAY THINGS, YOU WOULDN’T SAY TO SOMEBODY THAT YOU ENCOUNTER ON THE STREET. BOOING IS MORE OF A VISCERAL REACTION. IT’S LIKE A REFLEX WHEN THEY TAKE THAT LITTLE STONE MALLET AND HIT YOUR KNEE. LIKE IF YOU GET TO A POINT WHERE WHATEVER YOU’RE EXPERIENCING IS NOT MEETING YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE HARD-EARNED MONEY THAT YOU HAVE SPENT ON TICKETS AND PARKING AND OVERPRICED FOOD AND ALL THIS OTHER STUFF AND YOU EXPECTED MORE AND I THINK 1 OF THE REASONS THEY WERE BOOING, IS THEY EXPECTED WHAT THE CHIEFS FANS GOT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WHEN THE RAIDERS PLAYED THERE, THEY HAD AN EXPECTATION THAT THIS GAME WAS GOING TO BE AN EASY WIN. THAT, WE’D BE ABLE TO SIT AND ENJOY THE SECOND HALF AND WATCH THE RAIDERS FLAIL AROUND WHILE THE BRONCOS DOMINATE IN THOSE AWESOME THROWBACK UNIFORMS SO THEY DIDN’T GET THAT. SO THEY WERE UPSET. SO THEY BOOED I GET IT, THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO BOO. ALL RIGHT. THE SAME TIME, BALLET I’VE NEVER BEEN TO THE BALLET. PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE BUT IF YOU GO TO THE BALLET YOU SHOULD GO. YOU PLAY YOUR TICKET. GO GO. MY YOU GET A SHOW. THAT IS IT’S THE PRODUCT OF CHOREOGRAPHY EXECUTED BY, HOWEVER, MANY PEOPLE ARE IN THE BALLET. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A STANDARD BALLET. I DON’T KNOW IF THERE’S A SET NUMBER. I DON’T KNOW IF IT FLUCTUATES, I DON’T KNOW, BUT YOU GET A CHOREOGRAPHED REHEARSED PIECE OF PERFECTION AND OF NOT BEING BOOING. BUT WHAT YOU SEE IS SMALL NOW IN THAT SETTING, WHAT YOU HAVE IS ALL OF THE DANCERS IN PERFECT. STUFF. ALL LOOK GOOD. GAME? IS YOU GOT 2 BALLOTS? TRYING OTHER. YOU GOT 2, DANCE COMPANIES THAT ARE IN A BATTLE AND THEY’RE TRYING TO DISRUPT EACH OTHER. SO SOMETIMES THE BEST EFFORTS OF THE 11 PLAY ON, OFFENSE ARE GOING TO BE STYMIED BY THE FACT THAT THE 11 PLAY ON DEFENSE ARE BETTER BAD EXECUTION. NOW LOOK, I GET IT. ASHTON JENNY, HAVING A BALL, BOUNCE OFF HIS HANDS AND RICOCHET INTO THE AIR AND BE PICKED OFF. THAT WASN’T THE DIRECT RESULT OF ANYBODY FROM THE BRONCOS HITTING HIM. HEY, MAYBE THE BRONCOS WERE HITTING SO HARD THAT NIGHT. HE WAS TRYING TO GET THAT TOOK A POP. THAT HE DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE. HE’S HAD ENOUGH OF THIS S***, HIS HEART’S, I DON’T KNOW. BUT MY POINT IS THIS WHEN YOU SEE BAD FOOTBALL, WHEN YOU SEE BAD OFFENSE, IT’S BECAUSE THE DEFENSE IS WORKING. IT’S A 22 MAN BALLET. 11 VERSUS 11, AND SOMETIMES THE OFFENSE WINS AND IT’S FUN TO WATCH AND SOMETIMES THE DEFENSE WINS, AND IT’S NOT FUN TO WATCH AND YOU, SPRINKLE OVER ALL ALL OF IT, THE INCLINATION OF PEOPLE TO BET THE OVERS ON THE CRACK COCAINE OF SPORTS BETTING, WHICH IS PROP BETS, THEY WANT OFFENSE, THEY WANT POINTS, THEY WANT YARDS. THEY WANT THE DEFENSE TO BE A SIEVE AND LAST NIGHT. NOBODY GOT THAT. WELL, I CAN TELL YOU MIKE UH YOU YOU DON’T LIVE FAR FROM PITTSBURGH. I WENT TO A SCHOOL IN PITTSBURGH POINT PARK. THAT IS NUMBER 1, MAJOR IS DANCE. IT REALLY IS THAT, YOU KNOW, ALL KIND OF MODERN HAS ALL TYPES OF DANCE, BALLET EVERY AND I WATCHED IT UH UP CLOSE FOR 4 YEARS, THE SCHOOL AT THE TIME WHEN I WAS THERE RAN THE PITTSBURGH PLAYHOUSE AND SO WE, WE, WE GOT TO GO TO THESE, UM, PERFORMANCES FOR FREE AT STUDENTS. AND MY 4 YEARS OF WATCHING DANCE, I STILL DON’T KNOW, I STILL DON’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. THE FINER POINTS OF THE EXCELLENT, UH, THE EXCELLENT BALLET VERSUS VERY GOOD AND I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH SOME VERY GOOD DANCERS BUT IN FOOTBALL, YOU DO KNOW YOU DO KNOW WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING AT SO THEY DON’T BOO IN THE BALLET AND THE PITTSBURGH BALLET OR NEW YORK BALLET. THEY DON’T BOO BECAUSE THEY DON’T NECESSARILY KNOW WHO MESSED UP. AND WHAT HAPPENED. OH, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO TURN THERE. THEY, YOU KNOW, EVERYBODY JUST KIND OF PRETENDS LIKE, THEY UNDERSTAND KIND OF A HIGH POLLUTANT CROWD. THIS IS NOT A HIGH POLLUTANT CROWD LAST NIGHT. REMEMBER THAT 1 SHOT OF THE GUY HE WAS BOOING HIS FACE FACE WAS PAINTED ORANGE AND BLUE AND HE HAD A BEARD IN HIS HAND AT AT MAYBE CAUSE AND EFFECT. THEY WERE ALL GOING TOGETHER. SPECIFICALLY THE PERFORMANCE OF TREVON, DIGGS AND DON BLAND THEIR 2 TOP CORNERS WHEN MICHAEL PARSONS WAS THE 1, WHO WAS WREAKING HAVOC ON QUARTERBACKS AND FORCING THEM TO THROW BEFORE THEY WERE READY TO THROW, IT COULD BE AND I’M NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR BO NICKS. I’M JUST TRYING TO GET FOLKS TO UNDERSTAND. THERE’S A BALANCE THERE. THERE’S A BALANCE TO BE STRUCK WHEN WE ARE ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF THE FOOTBALL, WE SEE BECAUSE THEY’RE ALL TRYING, THERE’S 2 THINGS THAT WE CAN. CAN ACCEPT AND AGREE ON IN THIS WORLD WHERE NOBODY CAN AGREE ON ANYTHING. I THINK WE CAN AGREE ON 2 THINGS AS IT RELATES TO FOOTBALL. NUMBER 1, EVERYBODY ON AN NFL ROSTER HAS GOTTEN THAT SPOT BASED ON MERIT. AND IT IS A VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS WHO CAN GRADUATE TO THAT LEVEL OF THE SPORT SO THEY’RE ALL THERE BECAUSE THEY’RE GOOD AND 2, THEY’RE ALL TRYING, THROW THE GAME. ABSENT EVIDENCE TO THE KNOW, WE CAN ALL AGREE THAT THEY’RE GOOD AND THEY’RE TRYING. SO AND THE BOO IS THE NATURAL MANIFESTATION OF. I SEE SO MANY TWEETS DURING GAMES AND I JUST WONDER LIKE DO YOU NOT THINK THE REST OF US ARE WATCHING THE GAME AND AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE WATCHING THE GAME, DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR OBSERVATION ABOUT THE GAME? IT REALLY IS. IT’S JUST LIKE THESE INNATE. LIKE I FEEL COMPELLED TO TELL EVERYONE WHAT THE SCORE IS. THEY HAVE A WAY OF FINDING OUT. OUT AND INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT IT IS. IT’S NOT GOING TO BE ON YOUR TWITTER PAGE WHERE YOU TELL US THAT SOMEBODY JUST GOT A FIRST DOWN. IT REALLY IS.   1. Broncos Fans should BOOOO, Jacksonville Jaguars came in Vegas and put up 30 with an injured WR/TE core. But Broncos offense can’t even score 2 TDs ?? There offense has been bad against BAD defenses. I’d be mad too to almost lose to Raiders

What Mike doesn't understand is that the booing is a direct result of the Broncos reverting to having an anemic offense that can't produce a first down for 3 quarters, can't score after gaining possession in field goal range, constantly playin behind the sticks on 3rd down — just hopeless. That's why we booed. We're sick of that nonsense and ready to move on. Reverting back to that, if even only for a game or two is unacceptable for a team as good as this team is.

  6. I mean it’s not uncommon for fans to boo when the offense sucks. It’s not unprecedented and I’m sure the fans weren’t booing the defense which played lights out.

  7. The offense is young, trying too hard and it is showing. They just need to settle in. The game I saw – especially the second half – was a coaching master class where one coach stepped on the neck of the other coach. The entire 4th quarter wasn't about scoring points, it was about possession, field position and suffocation. Broncos could have scored at least two more times, but coaches didn't risk it when they already had the win. It's not pretty, but it is stifling to opponents, and we want our coaches to play to our strengths.

  14. Booing is not ideal. Broncos fans love Bo Nix and our whole team. We want nothing but the best for them. We believe that the offense will figure things out and become dynamic.

Lets get down to some facts the play design is poor for the Broncos and the play calling Payton Needs to let Davis Webb call the plays and not Joe lombardi up in the Booth , lombardi was terrible with Lions and Matt Stafford , Parcells gave up his play calling duties to Payton in Dallas , now its time for him to do that in Denver .

  19. Broncos season ticket holder here. Despite the decade of ineptitude the fans still expect more. This is a proud franchise with history to back it up. Take that away you are left with the Browns, and Jets. You start to settle you loose that winning culture.

  21. Been a Broncos fan since the 80s… I'll take 8-2 every single year in perpetuity, please. Concerning the performance, the offense is playing like garbage… but the 2000 Ravens and 2015 Broncos didn't score a lot of points either.

  25. We need to stop complaining about how we won. We've been praying for years to be able to string together a bunch of wins. Now they're doing it. When you ask God for something to eat and he gives you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you shouldn't get pissed off that it's not a steak.

  26. Worst 8-2 team in history! Their O stinks. Time for Jared Stidham. Bo may have some name or something but he's throwing balls into the dirt and looks shaky. His slow starts are not one-offs, they are every week.

  32. Delighted we won. Concerned about Bo's footwork. I love Bo. He can be great, but he can also be terrible. But he certainly must work on setting his feet and stepping into his throws.

    He can be a mixed bag right now. Feast or famine. He's a second year guy, so he's still young. He'll have his ups and downs. We should expect it.

    Part of the problem is the did so well last year. When he got us to the playoffs in his first season, expectations rose for this year. I was prepared to wait a few years for him to develop. But when he did so well, thoughts shifted. Maybe we're not being reasonable, LOL! But when you take us to the playoffs in your rookie year, we want more the next year.

    And really, I'd say it's okay that he's struggling because I know about the sophomore slump. But we're 8-2. So it's hard not to hope he can get it figured out, so we can get to the playoffs and win one, at least… because that would be a step forward.

  33. No. The defense has been carrying the Broncos for years before Sean Payton got there. That’s why we are booing. Russell Wilson, Hackett etc not here to blame. The offensive line is playing well yet the offense is a mess. In the London game Broncos fans and Jets fans left the stadium in the same manner….speechless.

  37. As someone in the stands, most people were booing the boneheaded play calling. You're 3rd and 1 with a back who's at least getting a yard each time, and you run a lame trick play that fails miserably, you're getting booed. Or your special teams that hasn't been special all year, continues to look terrible. The crowd was yelling at Peyton between those boos. So yeah, if you're at a professional ballet where the people are paid, and the people keep falling over each other because the choreographer didn't train them properly, I imagine you'll get some boos there as well.

  41. This Broncos offense is better than the 2015, Manning led SB winning team, and their defense is just as good if not better. It’s not pretty, but this formula is proven to win championships. At this point in 2015, Manning was so bad he was benched. This is a defensive team, and they’re a monster challenge for every team that plays them.
