There should be zero 12 point swings on any weekly power rankings, much less two. The quality of a teams composition in a week where there are zero trades does not move up or down more than one third of the league.
It’s ok to sewer the Blues, we’ve been awful but this list is also awful.
A lot of Athletic stuff is pretty meaningless. I had to cancel because none of the non-Rutherford articles were really worth it.
If there’s one bright spot, it’s that 8 of the bottom 12 teams are in the west and we could still sneak into a WC spot.
Not really holding out hope, but maybe they remember how to play hockey at some point.

Well deserved. This team has been a monumental disappointment thus far and there are so many good teams in today’s NHL.
We’re only 1 month into the season and despite it being terrible were 3 games away from being .500 that’s a reasonable goal to definetly reach next month. Going into January we should be pushing for playoffs if we actually improve. I wouldn’t worry too much yet but it will be clear very soon if we need to worry.

A slow start sucks, but it’s much better than a slow finish.

Yeah not ideal but it’s a long season and I’m getting used to the Blues slow starts.
Gotta say it’s been fun watching the Ducks play – they danced over Dallas last night. I’ve been a fan of theirs since the Kariya/Niedermayer/Selanne years and happy to see their club back in contention
