Of all the QBs we’ve drafted since I’ve been watching this team, I think I’m most upset about Darnold not working out. Most of those picks it was obvious after a while that they were just terrible, or it was a mix of them being bad along with the team being bad, but with Sam I think it’s very obvious that the organization failed to do anything to help him.

He needed time. Tom Brady basically said college doesn’t adequately train these guys. Moreso the lesser athletic pocket guys. Also these guys tend to be in poverty franchises where the league basically doesn’t favor building strong OLines.
