TOM THIBODEAU HAD TO GO!
The Knicks knew they had to get a better bench that they knew, right? And then on top of it, the question marks about Tibs from a lot of people that were lingering, especially late last year, but definitely into the playoffs. It wasn’t It was no longer just fans. It was in the locker room. And I have heard this and I’m I want to make this clear because as you all you all know, when T I fought for Tibs and when he lost his job, I did not like it. I was concerned about it. I felt he deserved to stay as coach. But I had heard something over the last week that puts an end to it for me and it is that he could not have returned. Those who thought, well, at two and three when the team was struggling and and Mike Brown was trying to change so many things, there were some people that thought, well, if Tibs was here, they’d just play the same way as they did last year and they would have been winning those games, they could be 5-0 right now and all that stuff. and and someone I talked to said that’s not true. That there are guys that do that do still love Tibs that still were a little shocked by him getting fired but also acknowledge yeah it it it it kind of run its course and in the room the players and I said this when everybody was trying to blame and who did it was it Dolan who did it was it this was no I said the blame lies in the locker room and that person confirmed to me you are correct. So there was enough people regardless of how many it was there were enough everybody just kind of knew like it had run its course. This is this was the max we had. It was no longer a collaboration. get here and compete. [Music]
