Casual Fan

  1. I watch football in general. If football is on… I watch. When my team is great and a SB contender I buy heart meds and as of late depression meds.

  2. Not like they’ve been missing much. Last couple of prime time games were dogwater

  3. I watch every Jaguars game (because I am full of self-loathing) and then I watch Red Zone when they’re not playing. And you gotta watch the primetime games (if they suck, I just watch them on the iPad and put something else on lmao). Slightly more than casual, maybe? Idk

  4. I watch the Texans, I hate watch some other games. And catch the highlights of the others

  5. Someone in NFLv2 tried flaming me for admitting I slept on Drake London until this season. I play fantasy football (in 4 leagues) and I’ve never had him on my team. He said “you’re just a Pats fan not a football fan”

Like, bro gfy. I have 2 kids and an acre of land to deal with and a house built in the 70s and a full time job. Also the Falcons are never on in my local network because they haven’t been nationally relevant since 28-3.

  6. I have watched so much football that it’s ruined my entire sleep schedule, even when it’s one of the worst game I’ve ever seen I keep watching. It has consumed my life entirely and it’s definitely not healthy for me. It’s totally worth it though. (I need help)

  7. I watch every Niner game.
If the Niners win, I’ll enjoy watching any football games I can after.
If they lose, I’ll likely turn off football for the day.
Then I love to watch re cap videos of the week. Like ThatsGoodSports best + worst.
I play fantasy so I know a lot of offensive player names.
If the Niners are really good I’ll listen to longer form Niner content, QB breakdowns of the games, look at PFF scores of future matchups etc.
But if the Niners have a terrible loss, I’ve learned to completely turn my brain off to football for a week. I have a wife and 3 kids and can’t afford to let a dumb sport affect my actual real life mood.

  8. The older I get the more I just watch team play (outside of the playoffs or holiday games which I devour). Funnily enough I tend to watch more college ball as the tears go on.
