It was clear Sean started planning for the Chiefs the second Denver beat the Texans.

He made a vanilla game plan knowing the team would win off talent alone. Didn't expect it to be a 10-7. Didn't expect Crawshaw to have his worst game. Nonetheless, he saved everything for week 11. Was it genius or idiotic?

Marvin Mims was ready to go but he held him out. Denver now gets to blow their entire load vs the Chiefs and have a week off afterwards.

Bo Nix will run. Mims will be a joker. Look for Harvey to be used exotically. Right now, Sean is going through thousands of plays. This is the STATEMENT game.

I bet Kansas City was watching last night, gaining confidence, thinking this is the team they are getting.

He knows a win next Sunday, gives the Broncos a 3.5 game lead for the division (with 6 to play) which guarantees a home playoff game. Denver will beat the Jags/Raiders/Commanders.

That leaves them with a minimum of 12 wins. Get ready to see who the Denver Broncos are!

  1. This is funny because I said this to my dad as a joke and then kinda started to believe it a little .

  2. Man im sorry but theres rlly no other way to say this. This has got to be the dumbest shit ive read since the game.

We tried a fucking WR double pass. You think he was holding back???

  3. The meme war page has people joke about us being a cult and playing along but I’m starting to think some of you are actually delusional lol

  4. Historically we lose that game, especially when the raiders still had Jacobs. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think Sean told Bo “just play enough to win”

  5. I would support this, but we only won by 3. It’d make more sense if we were up 2 scores and then went vanilla.

  6. Go watch how pissed SP was during the post game interview….he wasn’t holding anything back chief. This is just hard cope.

  7. The Broncos have played 6 games in the last 33 days. Including a short week east coast trip, London, and an away game last week before last night’s game. Not that surprising they didn’t light it up on TNF. They need a break. So now they have a mini bye ahead of the chefs, then the actual bye. Amazing they won all 6 of those games. Payton holding back also makes sense. LFG!!

  8. Vanilla game plan is one thing, Bo missing open receivers, or throwing trash balls with trash placement is another. Good QBs don’t do that shit.

  9. Dialing up a trick play in your opponent’s territory on 3rd and 1 counts as vanilla now? Next you’re gonna say he’s telling the offense to commit penalties on purpose to trick our opponents into not prepping for 2nd and short defensive plays against us.

What the fuck are you smoking

  10. Yeah, that’s why Franklin didn’t try hard on 90% of his targets. He’s saving it for KC lmao

  11. Nope. Not even close. Payton is actually on the clock (Penner clock). If/when the Broncos get bumped in the first round of the playoffs, the 25-26 season is his make-or-break year. The Penners are not investing billions into a new stadium to have the Broncos go 10-7 every year.

  12. I’m fine saying he tried certain plays to see what happened but to say he held back is fucking wild lol

  13. I’ll laugh equally if we blow the Chiefs out of the water or win by the skin of our teeth again.

  14. >Right now, Sean is going through thousands of plays.

Why are you saying this like it’s a good thing? Every time he gets too cute, my heart stops.

  15. Bro was gambling when he took the late bye over the post-London bye. He’s a fucking sicko and I’m starting to love it.

  16. I have come to the conclusion that he is a coach with a season plan that over rules his game plan… He’s either that good of a coach or he’s terrible and lucky… Go Broncos!

  17. I do think SP made a basic vanilla game plan but I don’t think it was for anything to do with the Chiefs.

It did however have everything to do with being on a short week, 10 weeks into the season with so many guys beat up. The team didn’t have a single practice leading up to the game. They had a single glorified walk through to the point they had to preface injury reports with “estimated due to no practice” or “… due to walkthrough…”

All tho they are dysfunctional, LV is still a professional football team with professional athletes lining up and you don’t just simply look past them.

With basically a week and a half to teach, install, and implement a game plan I anticipate a completely different look and play then what we witnessed on Thursday

  18. Somebody show Payton how to hold the play sheet ***IN FRONT OF HIS MOUTH***. Every time dude is on camera you can see him mouthing whatever play. I mean, effing Applebee’s has done a commercial about it.

  19. Man Bo agreeing to play like trash the whole game in order to trick the chiefs was some real dedication on his part!

  20. So the double pass on 3rd and 1 barely inside field goal range was his vanilla decoy playcalling? And he held back against the Raiders because of the talent gap despite the problems against the Jets and Giants where the talent gap was similar? I don’t see your logic, friend.

  21. Fuck it. I’ll take a 10-7 win against the Chiefs next week. Bore the world to first place!

  22. Yea I think that strategy goes out the window once you realize you may actually lose the game. Plus, there’s been 9 weeks prior to this game. KC has plenty of film. Playing 1 vanilla game literally means nothing. It’s not like teams only watch the 1 previous week of film to prepare

  23. Brother I appreciate you, I do.

No. We played a bad football game (offensively)
