On July 27th 2023, Shohei Ohtani threw his 1st ever career complete game, shutout 1H 8K. This is an actual authenticated game used baseball attributed to him from the game.

  1. If I’m reading this correctly, this is a ball that Ohtani fouled off as a hitter; not a ball he threw as a pitcher during that game. How much of a difference in value would it make to have a ball he threw as a pitcher versus something like this?

  2. That’s honestly incredible. That game felt like one of those “you’ll remember where you were” Ohtani moments — dude threw a one-hit shutout and then homered in the second game of the doubleheader like it was nothing. Owning an actual ball from that day is insane, man. That’s a piece of baseball history right there.
