8. Again it wasn’t Sean Payton that implemented the bounty system. It was defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. Allegedly the only reason Payton was given any sort of punishment was due to substantial evidence indicating he found out about the bounty program way after it had been implemented, but put no effort to stop the program. A program most teams in the league had at that.

   Sean Payton is arguably the biggest asshole of an NFL HC we’ve ever seen (Belichick and Urban Meyer are both also up there) but hate him for the right reasons. If it was him and only him who had implemented a bounty system, he would not have seen an NFL field ever again.

   He should be condemned for his role in bountygate, but to act like he was at the helm of the scandal is disingenuous when all the facts of the investigation are public knowledge.

30. Retired DT Suh said one of the unwritten rules of hurting players is to “twist and pull” just like this. I mean think about it. Why not just tackle Geno here by plowing into him and driving straight ahead. It is a fckn dirty way to tackle and I hate that they do this to hurt players to win at any cost
