The puck came right to him at the faceoff circle. Black power play 17th ranked in the league trying to go to work here, but the puck stolen by Backland and carries out. Only one power play in the game against Vancouver and they scored on it. Fori set up in front. Pass didn’t get there. was deflected. Bernard scoops it up all the way back around for Burakovski. Here’s Lechina. Surveys Bernard to the circle in front to score. It’s Bertuzzi on the back door again. That’s his spot. Another one. This one off the shin pad. And it was about 2 ft high. It was a Howitzer. Wow. That’s why they play soccer before the Kings to warm up. He’s open. He gets his big boots on it and scores more with his boots. Well, now he’s got the pads involved as well. So that’s seven for Bertusi. Four in the last two games. Bernard’s point streak continues up to seven games now. And the Hawks power play makes it one- nothing. Nazar gets the puck back to the line. Here’s Kaiser feeding it over to Murphy with a wister. Stopped by Wolf. Swallows that up and hangs on in a position where that power play’s got to make a difference in the game. They dominated faceoffs. Here’s a backhand stop by Knight on that chance by Hubo. Good look there from Hubberto walking out from the end boards to get a nice scoring opportunity. Shot down by Knight. Been sharp again to start this game. Although not nearly as busy as he was two nights ago in Vancouver as Bertusi steers the puck out over the blue line again. A great play along the boards with one hand on his stick by Bertusi knowing the defenseman’s going to pinch. He gets the puck out of the zone. Frost finds a bit of room shoots up. Points that off right off the mask and then a shot as the mask had fallen off. Maintains control across the blue line to left. Now Bernard on the other side. throws a shot on goal off Wolf. Kick that away. Gonado carries in as the penalty comes to an end. He’ll play the puck into the corner. Chasing it down. Bounces in front. Played back. Here’s Grizzly. Stopped by Wolf at the top of the crease. Matt Grizzling. Bernard cuts it off though. Check by Morgan Frost. Takes it away. And the Flames break out. Four of them through center. Played across to Hoover. Oh, here’s Frost in deep in front. Stopped by Knight. Great save off Coronado. won 88% of the faceoffs tonight, but the Hawks win that one. Oh, and almost coughed up at Butter Knight. Puck comes back to the line. Flames turn it back the other way. And I don’t pick and goes down hard. McKay gets it back to the point. Here’s Grizzlot stopped by Wolfe. Rebound scorched free and it’s deflected wide off the stick of Tervine and pass back. His stick was lifted and here comes Cadri. Twoon one. Works the puck in with a shot and a glove save. Spencer Knight reaches out and snags that wister by Nasam Cadry and hangs on to a thousand or more games in the history of the National Hockey League. Another one by number 27 and Cadri to the line. Weaguer fakes, passes over to Coronado. Weaguer again. Here’s Cadri with a one-time. Pat save tipped it and then it was stopped by Knight but a good play by Weaver to keep it on side as he climbed the ladder. Here’s Coronado Frost. Coronado bit of room and a shot. Shoulder save there by Spencer Knight. Hawks changing. Here’s a chance though trying to break through. There’s a backhand by Hanzik that goes wide is hustling back into the play. The Hawks able to break it up. Long feed finds Pelino just off the bench. He’ll slow it down at the blue line and play it in deep. Weaguer feeds it ahead to Coronado. Drops it off. Here’s Backland. Off the boards and in. Back onto himself trying to play in front. Good stick by Murphy. Broke up that pass. Backlin gets it back and a glove save by Knight. There’s Wolfe out of the net around the boards kept alive by Murphy at the blue line. Good pass over to Bernard with a shot. Good save. Rebound. Oh, what a stop by Wolf off Burkovski. seen their grizzled veteran of,245 games dropping the mits with a young defenseman Hanley of the Calgary Flames. We got ourselves a barn burner I’m sure here in the third period. Onegoal game. Third period’s underway. Glad to have you with us on Chicago Sports Network. Rick Bald Darren Pang in the broadcast booth as Kaiser clears the puck. So the Hawks for all but two games this season have dressed 11 forwards and seven and with no Frank Nazar down to 10. So up front bench short works it over. Cross check neatly by Tavvine but able to recover the puck. Uber pass to Coronado with a shot off the glove of Knight. Coronado six shot of the game and again Knight shuts him down. Oh it’s a big save early. I was feeling that in that second period that Coronado number 27 for Calgary is knocking on the door and they cannot allow that kid. He’s got a great release and what a save that is. Spencer Knight dialed in again tonight. 23rd save of the game for the Hawks goalender. Puck off the boards. Petusi can’t chip it past Weaguer. Wristed in deep. Classic on it. Gets the puck out. It’s a two-on-one. Bernard with Batusi. Here’s Bernard. Bertusi scores. Tyler Bertusi. He does it again. Five goals now in two games. And it’s two nothing Hawks. Because it hits the glove of the goalender Spencer Knight. A chip out off the boards. Two flames go to Burkoski. A twoon-one break ensues and not just a brilliant career. Amazing numbers for the young 20-year-old. Frost shoots and that’s spot off by Knight. Puck behind him, but they blow it down. Never did old one of those. They like a weapon when I was in school. Why are you giving a spike to pass in front? Another big save by night on that chance. Oh, what an opportunity. Whistle blows. Puck goes in, but well after the whistle. Sharon Bovich was the one who had the first chance. Murphy’s able to get around to the bench and the Hawks get some fresh skaters off on the back end as Leonoff and Bliger out there. Bedard is a god
Now that’s what I call a dominating performance! 🎉
Another strong performance from Knight. Bertuzzi is turning into a goal machine playing on Bedard’s line. Good team effort tonight.
The Bedstuzzi strikes again.
Knight is doing terrific. Bertuzzi is really performing well. Bedard is really in a groove
keep it going boys were looking so promising
Bedard breakout year
If you won't include the fights then don't bother uploading at all.
Farabee is a little cheap shot; he loves slashing and hacking at a player's hands. Then we have the goal well after the whistle blew, and he was acting as if he was robbed.
Dare I say you can feel the chemistry of this team seriously forming before our eyes?
Bertuzzi is Bedard's Hyman, love it.
Gotta give bertuzzi a nick name
That was utter filth from Bedsy tonight. He's a man possessed. So stoked he's able to use his vision to connect with decent linemates.
And Spencer Knight is HIM.
Bedard for Olympics. Put him with mcdavid
GO HAWKS
Excellent game boys!!!
At the moment, Bedard is second in the NHL in scoring.
First time I've fallen asleep watching an NHL highlight reel…..
Can I say playoffs?
Do we finally have a goalie again
Why not show the highlight of the Nazar injury and subsequent fight?
If we keep doing bertuzzi to bedard that going to be great and if we do bedard to bertuzzi still👌
Connor Bedard is an absolute superstar
Anyone else have audio dropping out in these recaps?
I told my dad the rebuild will be sooner then later. Looks like I'm right. GO HAWKS!!!
Keep Bertuzzi and Bedard on the same line. They play so well together that chemistry is leading to goal after goal. Keep going Hawks !!
