    “We took each player’s goal differential at 5-on-5 over the past three full seasons (using data from Natural Stat Trick). Then we compared that to how their team performed when that player was not on the ice.”

  2. Holy crap, I don’t know how much weight to put on this article but that’s actually bonkers for CBJ. I do wonder how much these stats are affected by just how terrible CBJ is other than those specific bright spots. Like it seems almost unfair to guys like Mack, since he actually has other heavy hitters on his team. Or McDavid being on a different line than Drai pretty much disqualifies him from consideration lol
