Glad we didn’t sign Pujols… Cardinals’ legend may be in some hot water

Kinda glad we went a different direction. Sounds messy
Interesting. It sounded like Pujols had the inside track for Padres job. Maybe someone with the Padres did some more exploration and due diligence and came up with some questionable activity and they went a different direction.
Curious what comes of these accusations against him. Otherwise seems like a great guy.
I was glad because he was a complete primadonna dick when I saw him on the field before the game at batting practice and was standing next to him. He blew off everyone except Manny and a couple other players like Arraez. I dont think his ego will ever make him a good manager. He’s top of the food chain as a player, but I doubt that will ever translate to him being a good manager now a days.
You mean the guy who divorced his wife of 20+ years after she had surgery for brain cancer?
While there is an interesting fact (I assume) presented, this “story” is very poorly written.
This is a trash article that reads like a lazily-written hit piece filled with unsubstantiated hearsay and wholly lacking in journalism.
I never forgot May 21, 2008. Pujols line drive to Padres pitcher Chris Youngs face. I know it wasn’t intentional but I’ve disliked him as a player since that day. 🤷♂️
he’s a p.o.s. i’m glad they didn’t hire him. he hands his wife divorce papers days after she had brain surgery to remove cancer. speaks volumes about the lack of character and integrity
I’m excited to see what Stammen can do!
Classic padre fan/media move here. Excited for him to potentially be here, then when he doesn’t come, here comes the smear campaign. Happens to every time.
