Nikola Jokic giving praise to the Prime crew: “This is good, this is fun. Much better”

  1. Miles better than Inside the NBA and rest….those guys are funny (even the humour got repetitive), beyond that, they are terrible ( I mean most of the time it feels like they don’t even watch the games they’re covering.)

This is what sports media should be like. It’s crazy how long it took them to finally get this formula right.

  2. Shocker, having a crew that gives you props instead of shitting on you and saying “I didn’t have you as MVP” like Shaq is better than

  3. Imagine being surprised that an NBA player prefers people actually analyzing basketball over SAS’ little ass screaming hot takes, or Shaq being an insecure manchild

  4. Agree with him, inside the nba is less basketball analysis and more of an old heads men’s comedy show

  5. Shaq is gonna say Wemby is the new best big man in the NBA by next week as a response to this

  6. Wish prime didn’t only cover fridays and the tourney. Hoping next year they get a lot of games

  7. 14 seconds and he manages to throw massive shade at ESPN in between the compliments. This is why he’s the MVP lol

  8. Everything Dirk touches turns to gold. And wherever Dirk appears, there is love, respect, intelligence and humour.

  9. Taylor Rooks and 4 ex pros who are all chill are so much better than Inside the NBA’ nasty bitter old men (sorry Ernie).

  10. Yeah this Prime crew has been really great to watch. Really good chemistry. Inside the NBA will always be the GOAT but it’s really interesting seeing how different the production is on Prime and the personalities on camera are when compared to Inside. Whoever put this whole Prime team together really nailed it. Already much better than anything ESPN ever did. I’ve been enjoying watching the Prime crew more than the new Inside iteration on ESPN.

  11. I haven’t tuned in via Prime yet, and I can’t see from this clip other than Dirk and Rooks, who is the crew?

Are they permanent or rotating guys in and out?

Looks promising by the sounds of the comments

  12. Nash telling Jokic to “get a rakija” after the game

    Man knows his Balkan spirits

  13. As a nascar fan primes coverage was the best of all the networks them doing the same for basketball isn’t surprising

  14. I don’t give a damn what anyone says, The Inside crew has been very lame and overrated since 2015. Fans coddling them was very confusing to me because players like Matt Barnes repeatedly told us how much of an asshole Shaq really is. Kenny & Chuck are just as lame imo.

  15. Shaq and Chuck literally have their notes written for them because they don’t watch the games. They constantly talk bad about current players.

This is what NBA coverage should look like.

  16. Shame and hate to say it the TNT crew is old. They don’t watch the games clearly as they mess up players name, don’t know much of the flow of current game. They should have let them go. An embarrassing episode was when Draymond Green was speaking X & Os of the current game and all 3 hall of famers looked like quiet kids struggling to understand the teacher. From that point on I hated watching them with their ego through the roof.

  17. Man them knowing what rakija is just hit my soul. That’s a proper TV crew researching Balkan culture before you interview, calling Jokic brate. Unlike Shaq disrespecting Jokic by calling him Russian, that shit don’t fly in Serbian culture

  18. being honest. I think it’s just Americans that like the inside the NBA coverage, every international fan I know cringes uncontrollably watching it. Its just an endless stream of lame dad banter

  19. We all love Barkley because he’s funny, but the new broadcasts are showing me that the TNT & ESPN crews were actually bad for basketball. Those shows were so negative and petty and did very little to teach the game to the audience.

  20. I hate Bezos and Amazon with the fire of a thousand suns, but fuck me the TNF crew and now the NBA crew are far superior to anything on ESPN or the networks.

  21. Not to mention Shaq told him he literally did not deserve his MVP like minutes after he won it.

  22. Seems clear Amazon and NBC actually try to promote the product and do proper analysis instead of exerting random grudges on this current generation of players or tired legacy debates. That’s a big improvement.
