  1. Why has he steadfastly stood pat when it’s obvious that this lineup needs a major overhaul?

  2. How can you look at this roster and think it’s good enough? Even without all the injuries, they’re mid, maybe a playoff team, but gone after 1 round, how can you justify not starting a rebuild?

  3. How long till you trade away our young players to put the team back on life support instead of making the SMART choice and going for a rebuild or at least getting max value for hughes before he leaves anyhow. (Lets be honest, hughes is a hell of a great player but our defence was fine without him and we REALLY need those centers and wingers….)

  4. I just hope Hughes doesn’t walk for nothing. Absolute failure if he leaves in a couple of years for nothing. Sherwood as well.

  5. Let me guess:

    – We’re a young team/a team in transition
    – We’ve dealt with injuries, and our players from Abbotsford have played well. Next man up.
    – Condensed schedule is challenging g
    – Adam Foote is doing a good job
    – Always looking at ways to make the team better. Not interested in trading top prospects.
    – Excited to see what this group can do when healthy

  6. Would you rather trade a 50% retained Sherwood for a pick or use him as a sweetener to move out Lank or Petterson?

  7. guys i figured it out, allvin banked on chytil because he knew he’d be out so we’d lose our 2c, he traded for reichel because he knew he wouldnt fix the problem, hes secretly tanking for mackenna without aquillini knowing

  8. What makes you think you are one veteran contract away from being a playoff contender when it is proven the best teams, and even the best players on your own team, have been acquired through draft picks?

  9. I literally have no questions because every answer won’t be to my liking, so why get wound up?

  10. Two questions actually.

Many big past deals were made under duress so, other GM’s act like sleazy used car salesmen and only offer up bucket of puck equivalent players. When will you make a big proactive move instead?

If Pittsburg is taken out of the equation, what options are left for you and Jim?

  11. “Hey Patrik, first time caller, longtime listener.

Why did you think that guy who kept getting concussions in New York would stop getting concussion when he moved to Vancouver, and why did you bet the season on it.

I’ll hang up and listen, thanks.”
