Whats crazy is it doesnt matter if the damn ball touched the ground and lost control. It breaks the plan and is infcat a touchdown
Everybody remembers where they were when Jesse James caught that ball.
Refs fixing the game…
Jesse James caught that ball
This game is just a distraction from the fact that the Steelers blew it against the jags that year. I don’t ultimately think it matters because even if we won, I just don’t think we would have been able to slay Brady twice
He went to my highschool, the Monday after that game was like D-Day with everyone freaking out
Dude. Too soon.
My blood pressure goes up. My breathing rapidly increases when I think about this debacle.
My brother is a Pats fan and cackled at me when I
brought this up.
I need to relax right now.
I still have PTSD from that game

Bro I don’t want to see this shit
It wouldn’t be so bad (but still pretty bad) if they were at least consistent. The same thing happened in the super bowl later that season and miraculously it counted as a touchdown. Coincidentally both games the pats were involved.
There are three things in life that are guaranteed: taxes, death, and Jesse James caught that ball.
This play made me realize I’m never going to understand how the nfl defines a catch. As a life long steeler fan I was so proud of how well they played in this game, and this loss hurt…
I was at this game. Our seats were right on that very goal line. Me and the entire stadium were extremely upset, I watched a guy very angrily stomp out and accidentally walked through a staff door instead of an exit, he was livid. I was livid. We were all livid.
He caught the fucking ball
Flew to Pittsburgh from Houston to watch this game live… I’ll never forget it
He caught that fucking ball
I’d go as far as saying it was a career altering call by the refs
IIRC, a FG would have tied it but Ben threw a pick on the next play
Yes he did!
Why would you search that?
He caught it.
Cost us home field advantage throughout the playoffs
Ah yes – Patriots rule change #437
They still had one more shot. Ben threw a garbage INT
It was a touchdown, and the bullshit tuck rule play by Brady was a fumble.

According to the rules at that time …
