New York Islanders Pregame Availability | NYI vs NYR (11/08/25)
any lineup changes and and what are they and why? Yeah, we’re gonna put the Sepy in for MLAN and Ilia will play in gold. There’s no major reason. I mean, uh Sepia hasn’t played since Carolina, so we think it’s time for him to play. We’re on a backto-back game as well, so he’ll be he’s well rested. Do you start the lines the way you did yesterday or sort of closer to the way they ended? Um well, wait. You’ll see. Okay. What what do you need to see from Siblov in his return to lineup? What are you looking for? We just want him to um to be himself and and and skate and compete and and be solid with the puck and all things that we know he could do very well actually and uh he had such a good year for us last year. So, just want I hope that today might be the start of something good for him. You expecting the same pairs uh same pairs as well or will that change? Uh we’ll see. You said after the game that you felt like the game was missing compete and execution. Yes. Is it easier to bring that the next night when you’re playing against a rival? Should not be. I mean, I think the the the I didn’t say anything very spectacular there. I mean, it was more the words of our guys and um we know that we we we have to play better hockey and um that’s what I appreciate about our group. I mean, we’re capable of of uh reflecting on our la on our game and and and hopefully that um will bring that that that game that solid game today tonight.
