I said I’d make a post about this when I caught up and as of today (before the game), I have caught up! Behold my project for the season, a scoreboard blanket.
It’s going to be about 4×8 feet, if I had done my math better it would have been about 5×8 but whatever. The seafoam color is particularly hard to get a decent photo of, the first photo is closest to how it appears to the eye.
Color scheme (with colorways for the fiber nerds, this is all done with Malabrigos Rios yarn):
Regulation win – bright blue (Ankara Green)
Regulation loss – navy (Azul Profundo)
Overtime win – red (Cereza)
Overtime loss – seafoam (Cucumber)
Anyone else doing a fiber art project, or another crafty thing? Post below, I want to see!

Oh whoops forgot to add that the grey colorway for the border is called Tormenta, which gave me a giggle
This is lovely!
This is super cool. My daughter did something similar with a “temperature” blanket.
This is so rad – you’re very talented and creative
Gorgeous! Such a great idea.
I’ve been working on a temperature pattern this year. Average temp for each day; you can see what a nice mild summer we had! It’s currently off-center in the hoop because I needed extra fabric tension.

Here’s my blanket 13 games in. It’s guesstimated to be 6 x 6.5 feet
I really enjoy how you can see how I’ve improved just from doing these rows
Every time I see it, it’s even more beautiful!
Beautiful work!
the TALENT!! depending on the season outcome, you could very well find yourself in business reproducing them 🤣
I saw the first photo and immediately knew it was Malabrigo from the texture, then saw the corner of the tag peeking out! It’s going to be so plush and luxurious! It looks great!
I adore this, it’s such a clever idea! I’ve been learning to knit this year but have yet to do a full project.
Can I ask how many rows for each game are you doing? I started mine, frogged it and restarted, but haven’t decided how many rows I want to do.
