Not wholly unexpected but truly looks like Vitello is wanting to or will be tasked with bringing in a whole new slew of coaches!

Bit more clarity to the Burrell tweet from Slusser the other day too.

  1. I know people wanted some of those names to stay, but a whole reboot of the staff will still be refreshing. Especially if they are outside hires.

  2. New managers of every team almost always bring in their own staff or at minimum replace some of the staff

  3. I absolutely hope Vitello brings his own dudes in and doesn’t have to be saddled with legacy hires. We got Dusty and Boch as advisors. We don’t need the last regime’s asst coaches

  4. So we’re starting almost all the way over. I’m not mad at it. I do hope Halberg stays at least.

  5. Is this not a normal thing? I mean, I was laid off right after my boss was, for a BS reason!

  6. Glad the hitting coaching staff is being turned over. A little disappointed to lose J. P. Martinez, but let’s see who the new faces are coming in.
