  1. He may have fallen short in the World Series but he is beloved in his hometown. Love to Vladdy for a postseason that made Canada 🇨🇦 proud too.

  2. Respect. Vladdy was a monster in that series and had me worried/irritated when I thought he was prematurely celebrating lol. Heck of a player; incredible series.. he is not the reason the Blue Jays lost.

  3. That’s good for him. He was a great player during the series and played his butt off. Nice to see his hometown celebrating too. Nothing to be ashamed of!

  4. The title of this post is misleading. Vlad Guerrero, Jr. was born in Montreal, Canada so Montreal would be his hometown.

  5. Good for them. They were also so close.

Literally one good swing difference series.

  6. He was so fun to watch. What an amazing postseason performance. I’m glad the Dodgers won but would not have been terribly upset had they not.

  7. Riding in a Cadillac Escalade in celebration through a poor neighborhood is kind of wild.

  8. They should. I was thinking don’t let Vlad get hot and he did and almost got them a chip. Jays lucky to have em

  9. I just mentioned to my firends that MLB should do an opening day game in a latin country and the Dominican came up.

  10. As a dodgers fan… this was probably the hardest win ive ever experienced.

I wanted this guy to give his pops a ring just as bad as I wanted to repeat

  11. Man DR is so beautiful, sucks that a ton of government corruption causes the majority of residents to be stucken with poverty.

  12. That’s so awesome, and well deserved! He had me nervous every time he stepped up to the plate, the guy is an incredible athlete.

  13. 🇨🇦 nationality. 🇩🇴 heart. Hell of a player. Hope to see him get a ring someday.

  14. He put his heart out there and played with all he had, nothing to be ashamed of. He’s a great leader and role model, and he’s still young, the league is his to take and hopefully he comes back even stronger. He literally stuck fear in each opposing clubs’ pitching staff in each round and rightfully so.

  15. I just kind of assumed his dad had moved to the US. I bet Jr appreciates having grown up close to his culture

  16. A parade for a runner up, thank goodness we don’t celebrate 2nd place in America.

  17. He must have around the clock bodyguards. Half a billion dollar boy and a corruptible country like that?
