NHL Highlights | Bruins vs. Maple Leafs – November 8, 2025
That was pretty incredible to see those four great service men and women who do so much for our country. Very moving. It is always one of the most memorable ceremonies of the year. Matthew Ny rink wide pass knocked down by Matthew. Henriki aru back in his own zone. He come out in front. What a chance for NY. And a big early stop for Jeremy Sven. Back in comes Morgan Riley. Nick Robertson into the corner for Max Doi. Nick Wah the other member of the power play in front but scores. It’s a power play goal for Nick Robertson. [Music] 30 seconds left. That second unit gets hungry and it’s just driving through a lane, opening up that passing lane. Good patience there by Doli and he puts it tape to tape. You walk up Robertson getting through the lane. Kind of gets lost. You you can see the head of the defenders. He’s pointing forward. He’s in great position and man the hot streak on the power play goal at 312. Now Boston comes right back. The chance scores. Morgan Geeki has tied it. 18 seconds later and the hottest stick in the Boston lineup has a response. Yeah, nobody’s been scoring more. And a simple little play just drive to the front of the net through some traffic and that fake when he when he tried to take the initial shot. You can see the reaction to Stallards right here. He loses control of it. It bounces fast and then the quick adjustment by Geeky beat the adjustment. So Robertson from Doby and Riley, but a quick answer by the Bruins. And we’re tied at one. Philip Meyers Dakota Josh off his stick in front scores. The Leafs give one up here and Victor Arbertson puts Boston in front in a wild minute here. Get this puck for Stolars that it ended up being there. Just some sloppy play in the old zone. Myers can’t get the first pass in. Now you’re coming back into the zone and just lost the control as you can see. Dakota Joshua loses it. Pabzaka with a good play and then just a quick stick there of Arbitson gets there before Meyers can. No chance for Stallards. He’s expecting his defense trade. So he has stepped up and been a huge contributor. And there’s turned over. Here’s Nadinov. And to the net is Posternok with a chance. Shrugged away by Stolars and back down the ice comes Ny off a stick and in behind the net leaps charge in after it. Knander comes up with it. Here’s William Knander from behind the net. Centering it just out of the reach of Matthews and countering here is Geeki once again with pass for Duck in front and stol the patience and calmness with the puck and good job of being physical there on him and turning the puck over here. It’s turned over the leaves with a chance and that glances off the glove but Swayman but with an opportunity count in front again. Double it up here. Doy trying to get it back to the line but that’ll be broken up and Boston takes off again. It’s Fraser Mitten over the line. Tanner Jano off the post short-handed for Jano. Machelli now dying seconds of the penalty. Matias Machelli in and that hit a stick goes wide. Riley’s in deep but comes around to Machelli changing was Joshua. Nobody in front and that’s sent wide to the net. Jake McCabe comes out to make sure there’s two defenseman and a chance but scores. Matias Pachelli and the lead draw even. A great play down low by Nicholas W. Shuttle down there. Absorbs the pressure. puts it through his legs and the defender’s legs. And how about Machelli? Healthy scratch for one game. Got back against his old club. Had a goal and assist including the game winner. And here not sure a Bruin team has been counted out as early in the preeason as this team was. And Knander in kicked away by Sven. Difficult goals to deal with in succession there. and he shuts the door and played a pretty solid period after that. Wonder if he’s ever allowed the first two shots in on the year the same face off, but it was 57% for the Leafs. And that was a big one there by Wah on the penalty kill. Zaka works his way in past across Geeki. A hot shot right on and a big rebound that will get sent back down the ice by Nick Wah. Astradock with three power play goals. Geeki has a pair. Lynholm in place of the abs of Charlie Makavoy to quarterback this power play. Arbitson comes on as it comes across to Geeki into the middle of shot there off the side of the net from the rebound off the inboard. Saka comes close in a row as Lorai Steves back across. Pastnock and that blocked by Dakota Joshua. He can’t get it out. Lunge for that. A diving play, but the Bruins hold the zone. Final 15 seconds of the power play. Jam play. Start down and post in front of the net, but Stallars holds them out. You can see the wave off is the call by the official. They’re talking there. Stallard Eisim saying, “Yeah, that puck was over the line. He had a chat with the official before he left the ice.” And I don’t know if that Good closeup. This might be a better angle for Brewing fans, but man, you you really can’t see and it’s been about five games up in the top six and he has looked like a top six forward six. You can just see what the confidence does. It goes right to your legs, goes right to your hands. And there was another great example of just creating a little separation and some room. Back the other way. Pasturduck in and Staller’s down and it’s in. What a brilliant piece of work. Tired at the end of the shift. Look at no speed at all, but that little deceptive play off his skate keeps it alive and then looked like it went off of his skate on the rebound and went right through the pad. It don’t think a kicking motion. We’ll have a second look, but man, Ben W just could not control it. And for Stallards, unable to just get a piece of it off his skate through the legs, kept it alive there. The first save was made. Oh, and it was Stallars that kicked it. He tried to get the rebound out. He kicked it for the Boston Bruins that he has sat two consecutive games. The impact of it though, he’s been dynamite since and hasn’t lost the game since that two games. Just got helped out by his friend Leos on a shot by Knander. Here’s Lai Posternok looking back and Lurai loose with a move and Hildy lost his mask after making the stop stealing a goal from Morgan Giki who had an empty net. one got hit the door on and McMahon Bonnie McMahon has stepped up in weight class here didn’t hesitate either he was expecting it after you can see Lton still punched over trying to get to the least bench so much of the talk of what do you do and how do you respond you know you’re maybe going to get hit but it’s the follow through and again credit look at Zidora drop his blocks first so Larson to the middle here’s kneelander with it down low knives in front the back hand wide comes back to kneelander rink wide Matthews midpoint and now in front scores John power play goal for Jeremy Swayman you’re worried Okay. Are they going to get a seam pass? And here just great movement. Now you go the secondary level and that’s John Tvar. Matthew N goes in tight in front. Tavarus skips out to the high slot and it puts a perfect shot up and over. And that’s what John Tavar this week and Kyle a line that Craig Barubi was using to try and energize this team in the second period but have to go without Lton as you saw. Puck loose though and Fraser Mittens back the other way. Red line and in for Boston. Jano couldn’t reach it. Give it away. Castle in front. Minton scores. Fraser Minton against his old team. 53 Bruins last year in Boston. But it’s the hard wraparound. And watch on the board. You’re on your off wing and Lent tries to shuttle it to the middle. And just at the last second, a bit of a weight. You know, this is one for Mitten. If he shoots it right away, he might not be able to get it up and over Hildy. But that little hesitation, watch what it does to Hillary. Now his weight is going forward. He can’t stay up and square. And turnovers are killing. It’s winding down on the Leafs. They’ll play again Tuesday in Boston. And the Bruins now have won six in a row and stay unbeaten. in November. [Music]
Morgan Geekie scored his 11th goal of the season, and Fraser Minten buried a huge insurance goal against his former team as the Boston Bruins defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-3.

Bruins are a low scoring team after Geekie. They were without 3 of their top 6 point getters tonight, #1 centre Lindholm and #1 deeman Charlie McAvoy and Casey Middlestadt. The Minten and 1st and 4th for pylon Carlo deal will get worse in the coming years.
i had to double check the score because that 3rd goal was allowed…
I don't root for Boston often, but when I do it's against the Leafs 👏😂
The video coach and the posts handed the Leafs a loss.
Leafs suck as usual.
Leafs are cooked
Love when the Leafs are on the receiving end of a lot of away fans in their arena celebrating a win. Doesn't happen often.
People were literally talking about a finals appearance after Toronto beat Utah the other night.
Y'all are delusional. 😂
Got a looooong way to go to build a championship team. 😊
What a shame
Phil Myers is actually terrible
And just like in the playoffs, the Leafs always find a way to choke against the Bruins.
Лошавры.
Elbows up Toronto!!
The Toronto goal just being announced as Boston got their second is an all-time leafs moment
91 zadorov is a big guy
1:15 / 3:23 / 6:46 / 9:09 Morgan Riley and Benoit need to go. They have zero ability as D…pathetic.
Almost 40 shots against the Leafs in regulation… wow! This won't get it done. Poor, poor, weak defense….BUT I LOVE IT LEAFS FANS!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Leafs just got out muscled and out classed. Not much has changed over in leafs land over the past 10 years or so. Go bruins 💪🏼
How is Nick Robertson the younger brother but looks older than Jason? XD
Whoah somebody wake up Myers
boy the refs gave the leafs ,home ice advantage, glad bruins ,won
Nice to see the Laffs back to where they belong – where they always were – a mediocre team with talent that doesn’t give a crap and I told everyone not even Berube is gonna be able to fix what’s wrong in Toronto .
Maccelli is good addition for Toronto.
The Bruins own the Leafs and that will never change
Toronto will never be Canada's hockey team lmao. That's Montreal.
I don't often drink beer, but when I do I wake up in a dumpster next to a ho with vomit all over my clothes
Pasta is the best offensive player in the NHL
As a relatively new NHL fan from Scotland, can someone explain everyones issue with the leafs? 😂
Маленькая канадская традиция для Торонто – проигрывать от мишек)) красавцы! Вперед Бостон!
a very beautiful game, team goals like these always make me happy. don't hang your heads, Maple Leafs! victory will be yours!
Always a happy camper when the Laughs lose
That goal by pasta was disgusting
