Paul Maurice, Panthers Postgame: San Jose Sharks Snap Long Losing Skid to Florida

Yeah, that that’s frustrating for sure. We we um Yeah, and and and it’ll bleed a little bit because you got guys that are going to look at their opportunities that had to get a puck to the net that didn’t either either didn’t get it there, couldn’t get it there, but there there’s enough on the offensive side of the puck. Um generated enough to win a game, but didn’t. What was the biggest difference after the first 20? takes us. Um, it’s a different style of team. We’ve got one team in the East that that plays much like them and and it takes us a little while to get a handle on it. I I I thought, you know, there were a bunch of shots in the net. We created some of our own problems. Didn’t love our first period. Wasn’t in a panic about it. We’re down one. We can handle that. Then our game for the next two five on five was right. What from the last two games would you like to see carried over into Vegas? Uh, some of the movement at times in the offensive room, some of the net presence at times was pretty good. That’d be about it. What did you like about Terasoft’s game tonight? Well, he had a whole lot of It’s a tough second goal and he had long blocks and not a whole lot of action and um and then being able to make a save when he had to. You mentioned the word consistency this morning when talking about Brad Marian. just another game where he gets a goal. Yeah. And all over it, right? Lots of chances around that. Lots of creativity. He’s just he plays very consistent, energetic game. Um and and we can model ourselves after that.

  1. Poor Tarasov. He played a great game. And deserved a win. We had 38 shots on goal and outplayed them for the second and third. Power play has to get better! 0/5 is unacceptable. Bennett needs to step up.
