Brad Marchand Scores, Not Enough in Florida Panthers Loss to San Jose Sharks
biggest challenge the first 20 in your mind. Sometimes when you play a new team um you don’t really know what they’re bringing. Uh we haven’t seen them yet. We know they play fast and with a lot of skill. Um you know and I just I think we had to get used to kind of what they were doing. We saw it after that period and and kind of we had to change a couple things up and like you said we dominated the second uh second and third. 10 goals for you now this season. Your head coach Paul Murice um emphasized the word consistency this morning. I just want to ask him about your impact. What can you say about just how consistent you’ve been to start the season? Uh I just think it’s a it’s a product of playing with really good players. I mean um you know you saw last year that uh Lucy and Lendy and I have really good chemistry and just kind of carried that into this year. Um you know I think we were you know like you said consistent in the way that we play uh game to game. We don’t really change it up and um play pretty direct. So, we try to get bucks in net and good things happen. You guys only allowed three shots in that second period and what was working well on defensive? Um, I mean, biggest thing defensively is we we were in their end. Um, you know, our forche was really good and kind of just kept hemming them in. Um, you know, so every time they got it out, they had to change, they were tired, so they just really weren’t playing any offense. Uh, it wasn’t really much different in the third, too. Kind of same thing. Oh, what positives you want to take from this game into Vegas? I mean, we played really good last game in LA. Um, dominated tonight. Should have won. I mean, that that’s how it goes. You know, they had plenty of chances to uh to capitalize and but, you know, that’s how it goes sometimes. So, uh, if we continue to play that way, we’re hard on pucks hard on D really good on the for check. I mean, we’re, you know, not just next game, but consistently we’re going to be we’re going to be, you know, team we expect to be. How do you manage the frustrations? Are you so positive when you are dominating and maybe just not getting the results? Yeah, I mean that happens. It happens. um you know the other way as well. We’ve gone won games that we didn’t really deserve to win. Um you know that’s part of it. Biggest thing you just got to keep going. Eventually if we continue to do that night after night it’s going to break and and uh we’re going to win more than we’re going to lose. So they’re a young hot shot player celebrating get everything started. Tops in scoring in the league. Uh what did you guys know about him and how much of an impact did he make? Yeah obviously um you know he’s a new hot thing. You know you hear a lot about him. He’s playing incredible hockey right now. Uh he’s obviously very skilled, but what I really like about his game is is just the intensity. He’s a dog and uh you know, he hounds the pocks hard. He’s not shy. Um you know, going to corners or go to the front of the net. Um you know, so you know, he’s not one of those guys that waits for the power play. He he plays all night long. So he’s going to be you know, one of the best for a very long time. um which makes it tough to play against. But you know, he showed why he’s he’s an extremely um talented player.

. Looks like the Panthers were caught off guard in the first period, and dominated the second and third. Brad is the most dominating and consistent player on the team.
Give Askarov some credit…. He played a good game for the Sharks…. Both Goalies played great.
so nice of florida to bring their own refs tonight LOL, asky with a massive preformance.
easy to dominate when you got the refs on your side not blowing any obvious penalty calls. 6 players on the ice…..nothing. boarding on Will Smith…….nothing. plus multiple others
