Giants add OF Dean, LHP Sanmartin; RHP Black DFA’d

I don’t know where they’re going to put Justin Dean. I’m guessing they’ll play him RF in tandem with Gilbert. As a huge fan of Cañeros de Los Mochis, I’m glad I can root for him again now that he’s not wearing that icky blue uni.
This reminds me of the countless roster moves Farhan loved to make during the offseason. Picking one DFA’d player only to dump him for another guy two days later. I’m not sure he’ll make it to spring training and if he does I doubt he breaks camp
I’m a bit sad about Mason Black. I hope he sticks around because listening to his interview with Roger Munter, he is probably the most thoughtful baseball I’ve ever heard.
I want Mason Black to do well but I must admit I always think it’s Ray Black
