Hunter Skinner recalled from Springfield. Logan Mailloux has been assigned to the AHL’s Thunderbirds.

Get some reps and build up the confidence, Logan. Excited for what skinner has for the big club. He was one of the last cuts from camp. If he plays well, I’ll just worry about sending him down and having him clear waivers.
I don’t have to watch Logan Mailloux play hockey! Better yet, he gets to play on a team that’s roughly his skill level, good for a 0.182 points percentage and last in the AHL! He may even be good enough for a second pairing role there! Wins keep piling up here.
More PT for Kessel. I can dig it.
Maybe the third time’s the charm when it comes to Mailloux being sent down to the AHL.
The guy has an NHL body, an NHL shot, and a rec league brain.

The trade for Mailloux is shaping up to be the worst move of Doug’s career
Mailloux just needs a season to bake in the AHL and get some confidence in the grown man’s game. He’s got the skills, he’ll be fine. Excited to see what Trapper Keeper can do, he looked really exciting in preseason.
If Monty won’t play him up here, this is for the best. But the Blues really should just be playing him and letting him grow through it. He’s got nothing to learn or gain in the AHL.
And he was also improving each game out.
Is it tank for Gavin McKenna season???? If we aren’t .500 by the end of November I say yes.
That’s where Mailloux belongs for now. No shade.
Glad to see Skinner get a chance, looked like he belonged in preseason. Certainly a bit more exciting than Kessel, though he hasn’t been bad.
Mailloux sucks. Anybody saying otherwise or saying he needs time to grow is coping heavily. He’s played 135 games in the AHL. That is his ceiling. It’s okay to not buy into sunk cost fallacy and say he blows.
This is fine tbh. Curious to see if Skinner is actually a guy or not. Liked Kessels game yesterday so I assume he’ll stay in the lineup
Feels like it’s becoming clearer we missed on Dobson or someone bigger and Mailloux was the consolation we assumed would develop in a few years.
