  1. I think Penix side-by-side with Maye last week and Jones this week shows how he’s underperforming, even against his peers/league average. His inability to connect on these throws multiple times a game really adds up and becomes insurmountable for a team to overcome. The moment his structure is broken, he’s unable to make plays out of structure. He either tries looking downfield, and takes a stripsack or gets knocked off his platform. Or he tries scrambling but just sort of buys time before falling down or throwing the ball away (not always legally too).

I do think he could eventually get it together but I’m not sure the offensive talent on this team currently can afford to wait that long

  2. So me, as a person who said firing Dan Quinn was a mistake, who said firing TD was a mistake, who said firing Sark was a mistake, who hated Terry’s hiring from day 1, who said on day 1 Arthur Smith would be a disaster, who said Raheem had not shown enough to have another shot at a HC position, who said Penix was a mistake even before he limped off the bus in Flowery Branch the day after he was drafted, what am I supposed to do with this team?

  3. Raheem in the locker room after the Bills win – “That was a playoff atmosphere between 2 playoff teams” 🤡

  4. I’m pissed that Penix missed just enough throws for Raheem to scape goat him. Yes there were 4 egregious misses but otherwise solid for 3 quarters. So now Raheem will tap dance around another atrocious 3 down conversion game.

In fairness some plays were there but that might have been 2 out of the 8. That’s not winning football from a scheme standpoint and does not help a developing QB.
I’m still livid about the obvious 3rd down motion out Bijan screen, it’s like he’s not even trying and just saying block the corner sprinting at Bijan and make your block…

Not to mention Bijan drifted wide and made Londons block harder… it’s just like all these details make or break a game and we are always on the wrong side of it… that’s coaching when it’s season long each game

  5. atlanta is just a big enough sports market that our teams get really into milking the fans but don’t actually need to win anything

  6. Even with what we know now with Cousins, picking Penix was always going to doom us. If we just used conventional knowledge and took one of the decent pass rushers there then we wouldn’t need to trade away a future first to fix our pass rushers woes.

Shit, had we actually just fired Smith rather than let him try to save his job and lost out, we would have had a shot at just taking Daniels or Maye and never would have dealt with either Kirk or Penix

  7. Yo Raheem saying in press conference Penix played good a few times show you everything you need to know. They will gaslight all of us to try to defend him and the pick.

  8. That has to be the 3rd game losing intentional grounding by Penix this season, right? Jfc this dude isn’t too bright

  9. Shoutout Ulbrich and the defense. Y’all held on for as long as you could.

Between Zac Robinson playcalling and Raheem’s decision making, this offense is a MESS. I still believe in Penix but I just have very little faith in his development in this system.

  10. I just read that somehow the Falcons can get back 12 million from the Mooney deal so hopefully they do that and move on. He’s making too much for the lack of production and he’ll be making too much to be WR3

  11. It’s painful to watch Dart who has nothing left at RB or WR with a braindead coach and much less practice than Penix show the heart he has to make things happen

  12. Ulbrich is screwing this team over by keeping these games close enough for Raheem to not get fired

  13. See yall next year. Fans getting toxic, bad football, still gotta deal with this coaching staff. ✌️
