[Highlight] Embiid drops 29 PTS in 26 minutes vs Raptors

  1. Hes cooked… He will need to play 30 minutes every game to score 30 plus points which unless you are Joel Embiid you cant do. Its almost like the majority of this sub plus non sixer fans don’t have a clue about ball. Joel could get injured at any time which is something I will never argue about but him declining and how he plays the game and his skill set means he can have injuries and decline and still be a top 15 player in the world.

He is our only actual shot at a title period.

  2. Embiid seems to be leaning into his old man era. No more throwing it off the backboard and slamming it down, let these young guards handle that. Get buckets and make the occasional 4th quarter block. This is how you stay healthy

  3. Noticed how much more in control he is when he went for blocks.

Way more conservative, but still effective. He looked a lot more comfortable. Was very happy to see how well he was moving.

His lateral burst isn’t there, and I don’t think that can come back to what it was, but we shouldn’t be expecting that.

The one thing this team is missing is size at the 4 spot, who can be an above average help defender.

    Vibes are top tier.

  4. This is incredible, watching the game he looks bad, stupid turnovers, slow. But then you look to the Stateline. 29 pts in 26 min. Certified bucket getter

  5. The defense really worries me but it feels like he’s lost nothing offensively. I’ve just never seen opposition scoring so easily against us with him for a decade.

  6. Was so good to be at the game and see him play at a high level again. Last season was so dismal, I missed being able to just see great Embiid games regularly.

  7. Love this version of Joel. He’s still a legit star in the nba. Not an mvp but definitely a force.

    I love this team.

But I am annoyed with Grimes. Doesn’t seem like he can stop himself from shooting.

  8. Embiids PER 36 stats –  32 points 15 boards on 60% 7/8 assists.

    I’d say that’s pretty good.

So when he ramps up to the full 30 we are looking at 28 11 6 and close to 60% true shooting.

That’s mvp level offense. If he can even play good team defense dude is all nba at the worst.
