Blackhawks’ Connor Bedard Shows off Unreal Release for Snipe Against Red Wings

[Applause] Sharat able to knock down Baddard who gets it back from Terrain but Naser a late scratch. So Sam Laughy comes in for him for Chicago. Here’s Badard. Took the shot. He scores. Oh what a rifle. His point streak continues to eight games for Connor Bedard. 16 points. What a rifle. That was his ninth goal of the season on his 51st shot. Shooters like Bard need to shoot the puck right up there. There is not much a goalender can do. They’re down. We get the right angle. I’m going to show you the hole. I mean, there it is. It’s right up there, the top corner. I mean, and if you can hit it, you’re going to get rewarded.

Watch as Chicago Blackhawks rising superstar Connor Bedard shows off his unreal release with a snipe against the Detroit Red Wings.

  1. Bedard is now as much a passing threat as he is a shooting threat. Which opens up both avenues for collecting points for him even more. But his faceoffs, ew. They should do what Edmonton does with McD and Draisaitl. Draisaitl takes them but McD is considered the line's centre. Have a good faceoff guy to take the draws and then Bedard switches to centre after.
