Full Highlights | Bruins vs. Maple Leafs – Nov 8, 2025 (w/Joe Bowen)
The Leafs and the Boston Bruins tangling with each other for the first of three meetings of this season on Remembrance Day night. And we should honor maybe the most famous of war heroes that have played in a Toronto Maple Leaf uniform and that was young Johnny Bower. We saw some people out here that have eclipsed that and are still part of the ceremony today and it was great to see. Yeah, it is a wonderful night, isn’t it? And and got it up on the wing and gets it to center. Knocked down by Matthews. Sent back into the zone. Off a stick. It comes in front of the net. Oh, what a chance Ny had there. And Leafs bring it back. Fired in off a body and into the slot again for N. He’s hauled down and a penalty will come to Boston. Achelli hits the line to the far side. Dropped in now for Robertson. Robertson back to Riley. Riley returns the favor down into the corner now to Doy looking in front of the net. Robertson is down there and he scores. Pretty simple. Tic tac toe and Nikki Robertson has the opening goal. And just as Mr. Ralph predicted, the Leafs get the opener. Knew it. [Music] But the smart thing with Nick Robertson here, Joe, is he starts out in the slot and then backs in behind the defense. Lorenz couldn’t do much with it. And now here are the Bruins coming through center ice. Dropped off by Fei on the far side. A center shot scores. Very quickly the Bruins have equalized. Now it might be one Anthony Stolars wants back, but Morgan Geek is going to get it. Yeah, Morgan Geeky has been on a roll, but this is still going to go down as a goal off the rush. Meers retreats into his own tone. tries to play it along the boards and has. And now it comes in front of the net and they score. Oh my. The Bruins have taken the lead and we’ve had three goals scored in less than a minute. [Music] This one comes 20 seconds after the tying goal. the University of Notre Dame and the Fighting Irish, which always gets a block here. And another turnover almost resulted in a Boston goal again into the far corner. Willie trying to center picked off and brought out at center ice by Geeki. Geeki on the right wing with a pass in and a swalling save made by Stallars. That’s another one off the rush. 38 seconds and it’s 2-1 Boston. Leafs get a turnover pass into the slot area shot that went off a glove and went over top of the goal. OEL doesn’t shoot it. He works it back to the blue line is tackled from behind by Isammont. Corner. It goes to the far side. Punched back towards the blue line, but not far enough to get it to Morgan Riley. And it is Minton bringing it back the other way. Dropping it back and a shot brings off the goal post. Fired there by Tanner Jano. Al Machelli has the puck in the corner with 4 seconds left in the power play. It’ll go back to the blue line to McCabe along the board. Sent back in the net in front of W. They score. Machelli finds the back of the net. It will not be a power play goal as the penalized player just got back into the defensive zone, but the second unit capitalizes again. Got it ahead. Oliver Ecman Larson chips it down into the Boston end. Let move big hit there. Who was that? Oh, that was Oel in the for check. Going hard to the net as Zaka, but it comes back on the left wing side. Driving the net is Lind Holm. There we go. And a slashing call is coming here to the Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs came into the game with 34. Could get a close play at the blue line that might have been offside. Point shot whistled wide. Rebound hits the side of the goal. What a chance Pavl Zaka had there. Bruins in control looking for a man in front. Pastnack there. Jam play at the blue at the goal line and goender Stallars. Bucks over the line, but the official right there is waving it off. I mean, I think Stallars just got pitchforked after the video review. 81 Boston’s original shot completely crosses the goal line. Therefore, we have a goal. Oh yeah, finally saw an angle. It’s trapped under the right skate, but Stallar’s right skate is in fact over the goal line. Down into the corner, Zidorov to get it around the boards at least get it back. A pass in front. Big save made by Swayman off. Nice. Having difficulties with it, but the Bruins get it up to a winger on the far side. A little tow move in front of the goal to the line and covered up. No, it’s in the net. I thought Stlars had it underneath his glove, but he did not. And Pasternac has built a twogoal lead for Boston on another giveaway. And Dennis Hillbe is coming over the boards. Oh, I’d like to roast you. Rashad hits the goal post. Whistled in there by Knander. I got to roast Bob from accounting, you know. Yeah. Back to the point it comes. Knander at the point. Another shot that’s blocked. Another shot by NY. Stopped by Swayman with Matthews on the doorstep. Bruins out in front. Four to two. Get it into center ice. And pastnak will send it in on the left wing for Mason Laurai. Oh, a big save made by Hilde. It blew the mask right off his head and Lton couldn’t get a stick on it. Knander near side. Doy in front of the goal. Oh, and a lot opportunity there was poked away. Bruins now bringing it in now with Pastronac into the slot. Off on the wing. A twoon one down low. Oh, and a great save made there not by the goalender but by Jake McCabe and then filled in was Scott Lton. And now taking up the the hand of Lton as Sedorov flattened him. And it is Bobby McMahon throwing punches. Sadorov has a right arm free. Lton’s helmet off trying to get after his man is McMahon. Boy, Zidorov is known for some cheap shots. I thought this was a little high. The hit on Scott L. Bobby McMahon going to the box. He may find himself the instigator on this if there’s no initial penalty. Well, I guess even if there isn’t. And Zidorov is the one that dropped the gloves first. Leafs have not had a five on three this year. Knander on the far half wall down low. The Leafs try to come out in front and a back hand by Tavvaris. Went wide. Knander again with it. Back to the blue line to Matthews. Matthews to Oel to Knander in the faroint. Centers scores. Johnny Toado in the slot. Cuts the lead to four to three. [Applause] [Music] And this is a great pass from Willie Knander in the left wing circle. Shot was just off the mark wide. Pastnack getting it out at center and the Bruins work in on the left wing driving the net. Couldn’t the feet off and that was picked away nicely by Hildabby. Back at the net. Could have been a holding penalty on the stick of he gets it back again to the point. And the one-time coming in a good pad save made by Swayman in traffic and the Bruins get it out at center. They lead by one and a bounce pass off of the boards and now Hillbe sort of a architect of his own demise there. Pass back to Zidorov. Leafs get it in across the line in front of the net. Matthews got it back and couldn’t deliver a backhand. And Lton to the left wing side and Riley will pump it into the zone. down the boards. Machelli. Machelli looks back into the slot. He doesn’t get the shot away. And that was deflected wide. What a chance Joshua had there coming off the bench trying to pin it there. Joshua got it freed up. The Maple Leafs into the slot. A shot. Big save made by Swayman off of Oel. Does that make any sense at all? No, probably not. Puck comes outside the line. Now we’ve got one of the Bruins tangled up with Doy down there. Leafs unable to come up with it cleanly, but Doy does coming out of the corner with a shot and Swayman is able to swallow that up as Doy was knocked down and now he gets up and gets involved with Eizamont. They’re throwing punches with gloves on. Eisimon trying to get his off. Not sure what got under Domi’s skin about this. That might have been the hit. Late hit at the other end before that. Castellic is now trying to tell the official, “I didn’t do anything.” Back of the net. Knander. Knander got it free. Here’s a wrap around by Matthews. Oh, and how did Swayman get over there in time. My goodness for Robertson. Robertson had it back to the point and then trying to shoot it. I thought he was going to shoot it. Was uh Oliver Ecman Larson, but the Bruins have brought it back. And a shot. Big save made by Hilde. Nick Robertson gives the puck away and it’s to the wrong guy. Pastnack in with a shot swallowed up and smothered by Hilderby who has been perfect so far. And now we get some shoving in front of the net. Zadorov is in there. Gave McCabe a pretty good right hand of the chops. And Pasternac doesn’t have a helmet on anymore and he’s in tangled up there with John Tavvaris. It comes back on the boards for Knander. Back into the corner for Matthews. Closing. Shot. Stopped. Good pad save by Swayman. And the draw scrum as it goes into the crease. Here’s Knander. Sat away. The rematch. Scores. Holy mackerel. That No, it did go in. Are you sure about that? Yeah, that’s it. I’m sure that’s it. I’m sure it is. That was the middle of the net, was it not? I thought so. Here is Matthews shooting pad save. Oh, post it and out, Joe. Oh, wow. Oh, no. It didn’t go in. Oh, wow. If nothing else, eat up some time. The puck comes free and a shot. Big blocker saved by Hilde. Get it to center and shoot it in round on the far side. It’ll be Pokeman but intercepted by Boston and in with a pass in front. They score. Another horrific giveaway and the Boston Bruins take advantage of it to improve the lead to five to three. I believe that’s Steven Lorenz off the far boards in front of the leaf bench tried to tip it to the middle of the ice and Fraser Mitt. It goes back at the net. Tavvaris working up against the end boards. Doi trying to get his stick freed up but can’t. And a holding the stick call coming against Boston with 205 to go. far side down low centered pass Matthews a shot right on stopped by Swayman cleared by the Bruins and there’ll be no icing tried to slip it in the short side and it bounced high back of the net has it again tomorrow shooting stopped by Swayman scramble on battle in the front of the net smothered by the Bruins finally the Boston Bruins are going to pick up the road victory here it’ll be their third on the road and their 10th overall and their 20th point as Swayman picks up the victory and the Boston Bruins are victorious by a score of five to three.

im new to watching this sport but surely casually playing the puck out of defense across your own goal line is suicide in any sport
TANK TANK TANK Leafs. Minten ex-leafs prospect scores goal.
To be fair the leafs are racking up assists (to the opposition)
Get it back on Tuesday boys! Full 60 tomorrow too
Thank you for including fights and scraps! "Official highlights" rarely do, if ever.
What does Panama have to do with Hockey anyways? Great song but it's so annoying to hear it every time they score.
I think the leafs had so many good shots but man the givaways just threw the game and Stolly looked really down and out this game his replacement did a better job but lost his jock strap in that last goal lol. What a messy game Leafs….TY jelly maybe I should have stayed in bed =(
Welcome back Toronto some things never change.
Another fine example of a lazy, incompetent Leaf's defence. Losing games that the offence is winning.
Watching some of these games makes me believe more and more that these games are scripted. Losing interest fast!
There were roughly 8.1 billion people that knew Minten was gonna score in this game…
Jelly you are the master of letting Leafs fans relive their misery in super fast speed…
National Power Play league ridiculous!
Leafs went from cup contenders to possibly not making the playoffs. They're not fun to watch this year.
This is what the new era without Marner looks like. Making the playoffs is no longer a given.
I’m always disgusted when seeing them play Boston
Boston rebuild from last year looks very promising . Nice win! And Zadorov the wall
berube looked liked he was thinking when am i getting fired, lmao, robertson and tavares are the only ones saving them from worse loses, 34 is no captain no leadership at all and he looks so lost out there without marner, and the leafs need a lead for 34 to score into empty net lol
This Game Was Sucked About The Leafs Loss To Bruins 5-3 And That Was Ugly Loss For Leafs
That was an elbow to the head of Laughton, also, Leafs should have kept Minton he's playing with the big boys while Cowan is playing with the Marlies. Another bad call for Leafs management. No playoffs this year fans.
2 Bullshit Bruins goals should not have counted. Running into the goalie while trying to score is cheating, no matter if it was soft or hard contact.
Pastarnak is a b ass 🐱.
Why they scratch Marner 😂
Get rid of Matthews he don't wanna play here ..should got rid of Matthews and kept Marner .easy decision
Once again, Toronto created problems for themselves in defense, which they were unable to solve… They need to find another good coach who will teach them how to play defense.
getting out my leaf blower today to clear my drive … Leafs blow!!!
I am sorry the Leafs do not have the defence brigade to would stan in the futur playoffs 2025 – 2026. Mr. Dangle must be screaming his own lums out. Poor Mr. Dangle your Leafs must do a better homework if your Leafs want to go further in the playoffs.
Good for Bobby McMahon sticking up for Laughton like that 👏. Poor performance from the leafs though unfortunately.
I was at the game last night with my family and a friend. We got there early to watch warm ups. Stolarz was in between the pipes and the guys were just picking holes in him the whole warmups. I love Storlarz and I understand goaltending but you could just see he was it into it. Then when the game started the boys did not have it in them either. I get that it’s a ton of pressure playing in Toronto, they have the biggest fan base in the NHL, but when your paying $15 a beer and over paying $50 for leafs tshirt as a souvenir you want your value.
These guys still don’t have a leader on the ice. Sure #34 is a great player but he’s not a motivator. This team needs a guy who can get these boys going, get the heart rate going understand what a rival team is and when they come into our Barn they say not today my friend not in my house. They need to hit the guy carrying the puck and say don’t do that again. Ya the speed and passing is fast but that’s no excuse not to mail the guy with the puck. Management needs to get more of that physical play because face it a lot of these players now can’t take a hard hit like the good old boys like #17. I know this because I don’t even need to say his name and you know who I mean. You need the heart of #17-#93 they played with heart and skill and made their presence known when they stepped on the ice and if that wasn’t enough you had good old #28 to teach you a lesson.
Team Canada use to dominate hockey against every other country but then changed the way they played and now it’s touch and go on how we do against other countries. I’m a proud Canadian and want us to win every game against any country even the States who are our brothers. I don’t understand why they changed our game and I don’t understand why the leafs don’t play with heart and the grittiness they should be playing with. We the fans are supporting them in buying tickets, drinks, food and merchandise so when you step on that ice get back to basics and go bar down and keep the puck out of our end and keep the pressure on the other team at all times. You have one job a night and it’s for 45 seconds at a time so never let up on that stride for the puck, never lighten up on that hit and put that puck in the top shelf where they keep the peanut butter.
Find a leader, pick a leader, follow that leader into battle and come out victorious.
So nice to see the leafs lose again. Domi has his usual cheap shot goon stuff going on.
Has the gm and coach ever been fired on the same day, it's coming soon in T.O.
REILLY IS ABSOLUTE DOG WATER. How can he possibly allow that first goal to happen. The only thing he's doing at this point is screening Stolarz. GET HIM OUTTA HERE.
This channel is EXACTLY how a good highlight reel should be. Having Joe Bowen is awesome too. Thank you LJHD.
Well…The Leafs might have had a chance if they would stop giving the puck away…
Highlights package is top-notch, as always!
Whom is getting weak in his stoller position?
Make Robertson Tavares and maccelli a line
Is Joe Bowen blind. Domi dropped his gloves after diving twice and Bowen says they are fighting with their gloves on, yet Eyssimont never threw one punch. Call is even, and yet the leafs fans cry victim all the time. Domi also ripped off Kastelic's helmet in the corner when he did his best soccer injury impersonation.
Johnny Toronto still one of the best Leaf players.
