  1. Well without zayne, and seeing what bedard did to us, it’s tough to be a flames fan this year! I can’t bring myself to actively want them to lose, but it is best in the long run to get a Mckenna/Stenberg/Belchetz this year and a center in either Carter Meyer or Alexis Joseph next year.

    I will watch when I can to see how Honzek progresses as I love his game, but this is really gonna be more of a prospect watching season for me. Way more fun to daydream how:
    Honzek/reschny/gridin/coronaro/parekh/26rd 1/27rd 1

    will all look together than to watch whatever this is.

  5. I like the Backlund line but I’m curious how Honzek would look in the top 6. And maybe putting Zary with Backlund and Coleman would help jumpstart his play. Zary is one of (many) disappointments this year. Definition of a soft perimeter player.

  6. Two teams known for playing exciting and entertaining hockey going at it tonight. Won’t want to miss it.
