  15. Bryce ain’t franchise QB and we shouldn’t pay him, unless it’s cheap AF offer.

    His improvement over 3 years is what good rookies show during first season. I rather draft a QB and get some hope, it might be a good one, instead of riding on this train of bottom 5 QB, who is top 20 on a good day like 2-3 times a year.

    What’s the excuse now?

    Played 1-8 team with a freaking backup… At home.
    They scored 17 and we still couldn’t beat them. When team contain our run and force Bryce to pass, all they need to do is bare minimum. And yet he still throws dumb af interception and 200y is something in his dreams.

    I don’t care about his winning drives, when more than half of those games were close because of his mistakes. And I don’t give a fuck he’s a good kid. Yes he seems like good person irl, but he’s paid to be a QB, not a mascot.

    Fucking Shough… 26y old rookie, that guy with the viral open miss on combine, overplayed him like he’s prime Brady.

    What hurts most is that we doing GREAT rebuild. The only and biggest problem was the first step, which was taking Bryce over CJ.
    Even with his issues I would rather take CJ over Bryce. CJ got basically same stats (besides way more yards) while Texans are way worse team in terms of QB support.
    He would be levels above Bryce here…And I will gladly day on this hill.

    That pass to Chubba on 4th&2, when Chubba was like 1y deep was cherry on top 😂

  19. Fucking terrible. All the momentum in the world for a loss against the 1-8 Saints. I’ve been a Bryce truther for three years now man, this game changed things for me. We have so many weapons at skill positions but I don’t think we have the quarterback or the playcaller to make the most of them.

  26. I will be very surprised if we don’t draft a QB next year. Bryce ain’t it. And I’m pretty sure Dave knows he ain’t it because he never “puts the game in Bryce’s hands”.

    Tyler Shough has a dogshit offense and a dogshit O-Line and looked 10x more capable of being a valuable QB in the future in this league than Bryce ever has.

    Bryce can’t throw downfield. He continually makes piss poor decisions, and half of his passes flutter.

    This is his 3rd year as a starter – if he ain’t figured out the basic shit yet, he isn’t going to.

    FFS, I’d take Jacoby Brissett at this point.

  27. I really like Bryce Young a lot.

    But I think we’re in the QB market. Morgan and Canales will likely get year 3 (and I think they deserve it), and it’s time to let them choose their own QB as they continue to build the team in their vision.

    Bryce has had some really encouraging moments, and I’d love for everything to click for the next seven games. But he is currently still a limitation we have to game plan around. His arm is majorly holding him back, and that won’t get better. And his decision making, instincts, and accuracy aren’t bridging the gap like I expected they would. That *could* get better as Bryce accumulates experience and learns to outsmart opponents, but in my opinion, it’s not a bet worth making considering the current state of the team.

    Generally speaking, we’re improving across the board, but those improvements will not amount to much if they are hamstrung by mediocre QB play. We’re going to have to take a shot on someone who could elevate us.
