NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Red Wings – November 9, 2025
man Connor Baddard the first Hawk since Patrick Kane in 2122 with at least 15 points in the streaks. Badard on a sevengame point streak for him. Andre Burikovsky on the other side. The Red Barat able to knock down Baddard who gets it back from Terrain but Naser. A late scratch. So Sam Laferty comes in for him for Chicago. Here’s Baddard. Took the shot. He scores. Oh what a rifle. His point streak continues to eight games for Connor Baddard. 16 points. What a rifle. That was his ninth goal of the season on his 51st shot. Shooters like Bard need to shoot the puck right up there. There is not much a goalender can do. They’re down. We get the right angle. I’m going to show you the hole. I mean, there it is. It’s right up there in the top corner. I mean, and if you can hit it, you’re going to get rewarded. A different player. Connor Bedard, the Hawks say, who see him lots. So, the Larkin trip on Bertusi comes back to haunt. A save there by Gibson for the Red Wings against their old teams. And number 29 is out there wearing the old number 29 of Landon Ferraro. Is Nate Danielson. That one went off the post. Now, Casper try there. Casper. Well, Detroit darn near comes close to tying this game second behind the Bard goal. Casper from not the best angle. I’m not sure why. Played by Cider around for Edmonson. Patiently perfect feet. Here’s Raymond on the wing. Raymond right in on goal. Save rebound. Larkin scores. Dylan Larkin drives the net. Here [Applause] we trip for Juicy to make amends for that off their power play goal for sure. And boy, the patience that number 77 showed and we’ll take you back another time on this one. It gets through the goalender and actually this puck may have been knocked in by the Chicago defenseman. It gets through the goalie. I think Larkin did get a stick on it briefly. We’ll have to wait and see. But nonetheless, big goal for Detroit to come back that quickly and tie the game. Clark can touch it. I don’t know. I think it looked like he I think he did. I think he called four minutes. Played ahead for Kane. Knocked away from him. Back into the high slot. Turnaround try by Moore and that got stopped. Another shot went wide from played back off a stick. Fori is there defensively and away he comes with a perfect feed for Oliver Moore. He’s in the clear and a big save. Oh, and two terrific stops. Well, these are the kind of saves that you need. What a great play by Verusi. Bank shot. He’s played a little bit of pull or shuffle board in his day and that rebound for sure. I don’t know if it got the toe of his skate or what it was, but huge two saves by John Gibson. Yeah, it was on the highlight from Friday night. Raymond didn’t get it out. Forusi kept it in. Finds Bard laid back. Good save there off Andre Burakovski. And not many thought Burkovski could hang on Baddard’s wing when the season began, but the Austrian like Casper is doing it for Chicago. He’s been terrific with six goals and a good save there on him by Gibson. The Brinks got it. On comes Kane off the change and he’s got the puck. Kane, he’s right in on goal. Oh, and tried a short side shot. Did that hit the post or did it hit the mask? that Chicago has scored first, but the Red Wings have answered. Here’s Soderblam on his brother right in goal. Oh my. Oh, and he couldn’t beat him. Elmer on Arvid. Tidy. He just placed it at the face off. Here’s Elmer on his brother. Yeah, he should have just plowed into him. What do you think, man? Oh, yeah. Why not? Just like playing road hockey. He didn’t get a whole lot of anything on the big guy. 85 if he had only two more inches of reach. He tried going around his right pad. Oh, he got it with his right skate. Wow. We’re going to have some penalties here and it will be against Chicago. There’s a vicious cross check in the back career goals. At least he can smile about it. Yeah. 27 points to pass Mike Madano. [Applause] Tavo Terrainan now Connor Bedard point shot save made by Gibson off the Bard gets checked and pushed loose puck and then Bratusi came in and knocks down Cider. No arm there. There’s a shot. to score. Terrain on a one-time [Applause] fans are upset about and Larkin talking to the referee about something that happened down there on that loose puck behind the net. Oh, it was fori. No, it’s coming up here. He knocked over. He knocked Cider over. Yeah, but it was the high stick for on Dylan. They’ve been in the middle of two things. Dylan tripped him earlier. Chicago scored in the power play. This one overlooked for Tuesday high stick on Dylan. Chicago scores the power play. These two have been involved in both and not in good fashion for Detroit. Oh well the breaks as they say and Chicago with two but he’s got a quick young group coming here. Well, as much as I said we’ve got eight guys 24 years or younger in the lineup for Detroit, Chicago has nine. Here’s Larkin and a save made. And then for Chicago. Move by Colton Dock. Didn’t get anywhere. Larkin back in with it. Larkin to the goal for Raymond to L. And he couldn’t bury it. Oh my. Right off the toe. Pretty good give and go right there. And oh, that’s those are hard to get around and get over. I’ll tell you right now. Give us one for on. Oh no. Okay, here we go. No, you’re off camera. We’re game’s on. I’m in the game. I’m in the game. Holton Doc gets rocked hard by Raymond who has it now. The Brinket. Oh, and a save again by Soderbl. Good Detroit number 77 Minor slashing. Not a power play was three for eight the past four coming into today. And as you say, two for two this afternoon. Terrain in the bumper. Bertusi down low. Bedard to Bertusi. Brings it out front. He scores. Tyler Bertusi his sixth goal. His past three games and six points now. The past six against his former team. Face off controlled by the power play. Burgusi down by the to the left of Gibson and he actually half fanned on this shot and it went between the pads it looked like. Yes, it did. Doesn’t matter how it got there. The point is they got a 3-1 lead on three power play goals. And Gruzzi making sure everybody knows after what he Bard also with one and one today as for the moment passing for the scoring lead. Here comes Finny. Finny right to the net. Trip. Could this be a penalty shot? Possibly. Let’s see. No. A come on. No. And it doesn’t matter if you get a shot away, you can still get a penalty shot. But they deem he wasn’t in clearly enough. Well, that’s as about as severe a trip as you’re going to you’re going to lay on somebody. Both skates get hit and down he goes. At one point in time, I thought it would be a twoon-one with Kane on the other side, but Dean Pel off the right side. Danielson back in front. Save made on Van Remdikeke by Soderblanc. On it is Badard. Backhanded one and it worked. And the empty net and it’s hit there by Burkovski from distance. He’s got two points today. And Bard’s got three. Yeah, just a bit of a bank almost a giveaway and but long flipper hits the puck. gets the left the former Spartan drags the puck went back for Grizzlick off the inboards in front and they score just insult to injury and uh Oliver Moore see that coming in front they throw the puck around the boards get control behind the net and there’s uh nobody there to guard Moore in front of the net and he snapped one a breakaway earlier that did Oliver Moore and Gibson made a great stop on him. There you have it. That’s a matter of just split seconds and bang bang, the plays out in front and Mo snaps it home. No, there’s a there’s the break that they got off the leg. Oh jeez. Oh well, I guess that makes up for the other when all the the hoopla is over and uh who knows with a young player may get him on a run. Chicago certainly hopes so. So denied earlier but scores there late. [Music]
Connor Bedard had a goal and two assists to take the league lead in points with 25 as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-1.

Larkin diving like an Olympic swimmer. @5:33
Bertuzzi didn’t even hit him, bounced off his helmet.
Not even Todd McClellan can fix the loser mentality of this team. Soon enough they are gonna drop to the bottom of the standings like they start to do right around this time of year.
Last year I was waiting for Bedard to start shooting anytime he's got decent position and the goals will come, his release is Deadly.
This red wing team is cooked. It’s so disheartening seeing all these young centers break out this year yet we are stuck with old ass Larkin who will only regress
Larkin got bertuzzis stick off the top of his face mask then took a dive, c'mon, acting at its worse.
Every time we trade for an alleged good goalie they suck (besides Talbot) Gibson is now 4-5? Gives up 5 goals on 20 shots for a 0.789 SV%, meanwhile Anaheim has won 6 with Lukas Dostal? (Who?) I think it’s obvious we overpaid for washed up Anaheim trash. Now what do we do? It’s clear this season is toast just 16 games in. Maybe Gibson will get “injured” and we can call up Costa or Trey Augustine who has a 0.944% SV
5 goals by Chicago with only 20 shots. Not a good save percentage for Detroit's goalie.
Connor/Caleb- FUTURE OF CHICAGO
Крылья выдохнулись , на старте были хороши . За Ларкина поймал небольшой кринж…
Sounded like Mickey Redmond wasn't too upset over the Red Wings loss with the young Bedard and Bertuzzi playing well.
The beard glazing is so annoying lmao. Dudes not a factor
Whats wrong with these announcers? Bertuzzi,s high stick was a follow through, meaning it is not counted as a high stick and the Red Wing player embellished the tap on the helmet by clasping his jaw. Are they that biased or just bad at their job?
Love this red wings downfall, we all knew it was gonna happen 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chicago biggest shithole city in America.
Do the commentators not know if a player is high sticked via follow through from a player playing the puck, it is not a penalty? I thought people are paid to know these things lol. Looks like a flop anyway.
its cool how they have announcers who have never watched hockey before
time for Stevie Y to trade some dudes…
Красавы!Молодцы!
Detroit's announcers are so embarrassing, some of the worst in the league.
MONTREAL CANADIANS 2027 stanley cup champions
What's with Bedard and Bertuzzi engaging with the DETROIT fans after their goals. Don't they know they are not in their home rink?
I thought you people said Bedard was a bust?
Here we go again. 2 wins in the next 15 games. We should be in last place by Christmas
Thank you Bedard for proving me wrong. I hope Chicago makes playoffs.
Hey you 2 commentators its just a game plz dont be so sad
Bertuzzi and Bédard killing it this year
Detroit Red Wings is now my favorite hockey team because Detroit, Michigan makes me think of Iran 🇮🇷 because of comic book characters Spawn and Astaroth in Soul Calibur.
Hope to see Detroit 🏀 become Stanley Cup Champions again like 2008.
