I lost all hope today tbh. His glimpses of hope don’t outweigh his physical limitations and his 1-2 dangerous throws a game. He’s a less physically talented Zach Wilson, with slightly better decision making and processing.
I think alot of yall pulling a MeowMix would be for the best given one game makes you abandon all hope.
It’s been a minute since I’ve been this frustrated with Bryce. Not everything was great playcalling wise and the WR room doesn’t really move the needle. But man, average QB play wins this game.
By Wednesday all the Bryce is HIM posts will be back saying the fans are terrible/don’t know ball/are overreacting. As predictable as the tides…

Bryce only performs in a 2 minute drill when we are down 1. The other 58 minutes of the game he looks like a practice squad player.

It’s depressing…but at least we know and can move on with our sports lives. Same with Panthers mgmt. They can now plan accordingly.
Yeah man I’m finally hanging up the towel too. This receiver room and Rico are too good to make excuses anymore. The offensive line hasn’t always been perfect, but has made enough opportunities for him to shine.

I stand firm that he’s not the QB…for us. I’m not throwing the towel in on him yet. I think he will be either serviceable or good for another franchise. Dude is still very young and when he gets the right coach, he will be just fine.
He’s got the makeup to be a great backup. Send like a genuinely good dude, smart, great teammate, capable of managing a decent team on a short term basis.
Watch Bryce end up playing well ros and confuse everyone again lol
Look at the positive. You’re not going to be deluded by a good run where he didn’t contribute and give him a Trevor Lawrence type contract.

The thing I get frustrated with is that when us panthers fans show a hint of frustration with him then we’re not loyal to the team or we get shit on because he is a good guy. No one is saying he isn’t. I think he’s a really awesome person and has a lot of great qualities. We all want what’s best for him.
But when someone isn’t doing their job, they don’t get to have the job anymore, that’s just how life works. He does not physically have the chops for the NFL, I’m sorry. And that has nothing to do with his character or personality. He was great on Alabama because it’s Alabama. But when we’re trying to rebuild a program we need a qb that’s going to produce. Like someone else said, he’s got a great team of weapons around him but it can’t work one game and then be complete ass the next. Sure once in awhile qbs can play bad games, but this is not once in awhile.
The only reason we’ve won as many as we have is because of the defense and Rico. It’s just frustrating to have the same conversation time and time again with no changes being made and the inconsistency being so apparent. What’s the common denominator the past few years, after a lot of other changes have been made as far as coaching, general manager, and player, it’s Bryce. I’m not saying it’s 100% his fault but we can’t be doing the same thing time and time again and expect different results. That’s the definition of insanity.
If we were to trade him and he goes off and is a successful qb for another team, I’d be ecstatic for him because really and truly I want him to thrive and be happy. But I just don’t think this is the program for him. And I hate that because he is such a good person but I think it’s time for a change.
