Henderson looking towards the sideline to see if he got approval for the touchdown or if he should just down it near the goal line is the definition of a team player, love the discipline Vrabel has been bringing in

I think there’s a big chance the Bucs beat the Bills next week. Could you imagine.
Imagine being so much faster than the other pro athletes that you could do this after a 50 yard run
Lol he’s so fast that he paused mid sprint and having conversations with sideline. On a serious note, this shows how Vrabel became a players coach and how much they love/respect him.
I did this in hs one time
bUt bUt stEphEnSon woN uS a gAmE
Also if there was somebody on sideline that had the answer for him, it’s also good sign
That man got SPEED
Such a pleasure to see Hendo have a big time game. He can only get better.
This guy is a playmaker. He should’ve been our RB1 from week 1.
Home run threat
Ok but did you have 4 TDs in one game….
Why would he need approval for the TD?
Also time camera going to Maye yelling at him to go down. I love how well coached and locked in all these dudes are.
Way to go team!!!!!!
I was stunned at the level of situational awareness. It’s so impressive from a rookie. What a team we have.
That was such an awesome moment. The restraint, respect for the team and coach, discipline. I literally applauded when he did this.
Wait I’m seeing some fans in disagreement that he should’ve taken a knee at 1 and adamant that would’ve been the better play idk why is that the case and Henderson even double checked hmm..
I’m glad he scored, gave me 28pts in fantasy after I traded Pierce for him 😂 Hopefully Vrabes doesn’t forget to feed him when Rhamondre returns…
Signs of a team locked in
This is my favorite play of the game for this exact reason. They’ve bought into the system, they’re all in.
I think scoring was the right choice here. Going up two scores *guaranteed* is better than trying to get cute and then be up one score.
I’ve only seen two Pats games on TV and knowing their soft schedule (Bills excluded, which seemed awesome at the time but now seems less impressive after the Dolphins beat down today) I was expecting a loss against the Bucs. Wow! I think I might have underestimated this team. Go Pats!!!
Would have been a hilarious madden move if he ran to the other sideline before the td.
I sat his ass in fantasy too because ive been waiting for this type of game for like 3 weeks
>love the discipline Vrabel has been bringing in
I’m sure Vrabel has been bringing discipline to the team, but [Henderson has a history of being unselfish and sliding short of the end zone after a break-away run at the end of the game](https://youtu.be/tIgT7ll8Gbc?si=d32TI8mhfPBA0Bxi).
Jesus look at how much he outran all the defenders, that’s explosive speed right there.
Im hindsight, going down here might have made for a less stressful finish. What a champ to have that awareness and selflessness
Gawd, this was a legit flex (and a funny one at that)
Henderson: Everybody so slow i got time to check with the sideline whether to go for TD or not
Maybe going down on the 1 yard line would have been better? Thoughts?
Been a Pats fan all my life (yes I hopped on the Brady Bandwagon when I was little, but have never once considered myself anything other than a diehard Pats fan). It felt so odd for us to be so bad and look like we just had no real direction. I honestly thought for a while that we might just not ever get it back, and when we fired Bill, I thought it was done. With that being said, it is so nice to see this team do well! I love feeling the hate from the other teams in the division! It feels like the universe is righting itself! Go Pats!
My friends and I have a draftkings Sunday parlay where we all pick a player to score a touchdown, and when I chose Henderson my friend said it “wasn’t allowed” because he was unproven enough. I held my ground and WE SURE SHOWED HIM!!
At this game today. What a vibe here. The MVP chants were pretty loud. Our 3rd Pats game this year, all 3 wins.
