Clase in Venezuela rn
What an idiot.
You not only lose the bag, you’re likely facing prison time
Those betters are lucky this wasn’t vs me in MLB The Show.
The problem isn’t even any specific pitch here, it’s that now *every pitch* has to be at least somewhat in question. It puts the entire integrity of the game in doubt.
Pitching his way straight to jail
he learned his lesson from pages swinging
not the right lesson though
The concept of someone that has had a walk percentage of 6% or below (in some cases below 4%) his entire career being unable to throw first pitches that aren’t 45 feet out of the zone is hilarious
We thought point shaving was bad. Whose idea was it to allow betting on any one specific play and think that the mob wouldn’t get involved?
His catcher watching this felt the most betrayed
Dude is done for
You just have to cheat *without* betting, win the world series, and then you get away without any significant punishment.
I faced Clase in MLB The Show last night and my opponent intentionally spiked the first pitch in the ground and had me dying lmao
Someone investigate Brandon Ingram
An Excitable Boy they all said. RIP Warren Zevon and the Clase career.
What about the one that was swung on?
He’s playing cricket out there
Imagine if someone had sold Cleveland the farm for him before this came out
So first pitch every 9th inning he just throws it into the dirt….did they even TRY to avoid getting caught? Not even intelligent enough to stagger the batter of the inning, or even batter -> pitch number?
Did they WANT to get caught?
That bet365 sign at 0:09 really ironic. Maybe, just maybe, these things shouldn’t be advertised…? Idk just spitballing
I should not have to teach someone about prop bets when discussing how to play baseball. This why it’s bad and why MLB needs to get a grip on this before it gets out of control.
Can you not make it less obvious lmao
Brought to you by DraftKings
Dude must’ve had some serious skeletons in his closet for him to throw away millions of dollars for only a few G’s
Manfred is probably thinking, “Oh, come on. We finally got over the Ohtani betting scandal”.

Life handed them lemonade and they made lemons
His poor catcher
