Tough pitch to throw for Molina, but he gets him. He made that look easy. That was not a good pitch to handle on the stolen base attempt and Molina nails Tabata. Let’s just say it right now. Cardinals are going to win this game. These two big losing two runners on the base pass late in the game has really pulled the momentum to the Cardinal side. Luis Cruz. He has fly out and struck out. Manny Machado foul territory. Long throw. Oh, mercy. Got to see that one for a few years. What a play by Machado into foul territory. And then with that cannon for an arm. Makes the play. Danny just shakes his head and says, “Thank goodness for that gold glove in left, baby.” Wow. That’s a That’s a game stopper. Great timing. Not a lot of chances down by that wall. It’s so short. And I think that ball would have landed fair. And that is a fair ball out at second. Heads up play by Yachti. It’s a double play. Vado left standing at the plate. Molina let it roll fair and in doing so guns down to second and the Cardinals get a double play. Fly ball center field. Carmire’s going to go to the wall. He’s going to have to leap and that ball is caught by Kmire. Kirby robbing Machado of a home run for the first out here in the bottom of the first. Wow, what a catch by Kermire. That ball was going to clear by a bunch. What an unbelievable catch by Kevin Kermire. There goes the runner and a fake throw by Molina and they got the runner hung up headed home and he is out. What a play by Molina. The fake throw to second. He gets Chisenhal to bite. Then they pick him off a third. That was handled perfectly by the gold glover Yadier Molina. Pen has been We talked about the things falling apart for the White Socks. Here’s an incredible play. You got to be kidding me. Lindor flipped to Ramirez who gets Morales at first. How about the range right there from Francisco Lindor? But he knows he does not have time to get up and make that throw. So roll the dice and flip it to Jos Ramirez and it ends up being in plenty of time. That is an outstanding play. We don’t even see a base runner in that play. But knowing your runner, being smart about it, and man, that was fun to watch along the right field line. And Rizzo on the ledge. She’s got it. Oh, what a play. Call the bobblehead company. We got the tarp catch. Now we got the ledge catch. Both against the Milwaukee Brewers. Give him the gold glove right now. Excuse me, sir. On the barrier. Lean in. Beautiful play. Sticks the landing. Oh, such pretty work on the beam. hit hard to center. Buckton chasing it, leaping. Oh, Byron Buckton. Did he catch it? Oh, what a catch. Byron Buckton with a phenomenal catch in center field. And the Cleveland fans appreciate the athleticism and the superb catch as he crashed into the wall. That’s the best catch I’ve seen a center fielder make this year. On the ground, Aronado is going to flip and throw. And they got him. What a play. What a play. I mean, it helps that you have a pitcher running who doesn’t have great speed, but I don’t care. The creativity in this, this is just a massive ad lib right here. stops it with the bare hand and really from the side of his knee rowing backwards. He manages to they that’s hard to describe. Fact that they get an out off this is amazing. Watch the right hand. This is the play snag. Now it’s how is he going to get to a balance point to get off a throw? Not a problem from the seat of his pants. And that’s a goal glover at work. A four-timer. This one’s popped up. Chapman, you feel like he can catch everything and he did. Unbelievable. What an unbelievable play. Talk about Josh Donaldson the tarp catch and the bobblehead. How about this one? This is just one of many that you’re going to see. That’s fair. Nolan’s got it. Who does that from his knees with velocity? Unbelievable. How strong does your arm have to be to do this? Stronger than mine. Just Nolan has so much awareness and his ability to just put the throw online, get it there. He uses his back knee and his hips to create that that whip necessary to get enough on the throw to first base. Chapman jumps up. He’s going to step on third. His throw to first and they got him. What a play by Matt Chapman. Crow can’t believe it. Chapman decided, I’m going to take it at third and throw across the diamond to first and he was able to turn the double play. You know your runner at the dish, elevate, make the play, foot on the back, and big Oie on the backside for the digout. Slowly hit and oh my out at second. How did Nolan do that one? That looked like it was out of Cir to Sole. It surprised everybody, including Cargo, because he didn’t slide. That is remarkable to even think about this on a backhand backhand flip. I’m I’m with Cargo. I’m assuming he is out. I’m assuming he’s going to go to first with the bare hand. Ryan McMahon though. Ryan McMahon with his foot on the back bare hand. Unfortunately, he’s got to be aware. And fortunately, Max’s your height 63 and a half. Yeah. So, he had to use every inch of that. Hits it to left field. That is one of his all-time plays in terms of catching foul pops. Nothing will be better than the one he had in the tarp in San Francisco. But this ain’t far behind. He ran about half a mile. That’s what I was going to say. from where he started to be able to catch this like he did knowing that that wall’s coming up. I’ll go ahead and slide. [Applause] That is an unbelievable play. He has been racking up the hits and numbers, but right here picking up Blake Taylor with an allstar play. Great pick by Taylor, too. Yeah, Taylor Jones getting it done on his end as well. Kareah with the outstanding defensive play to go along with a perfect day of offense. Oh, what a play here from his knees. Got him. The stretch at first by Goldie. One of the most remarkable plays you’ll see on both ends. Recooping, throwing. Goldie a stretch. Awesome. Not only that, but the speed of Defo. He can fly. Aronado had to get rid of it quickly. Didn’t even have time to get to his feet. Throws it from his knees. What a play all the way around. That is awesome. Holy smokes. Even Aronado enjoyed that one. Jumps on the first pitch and pops it up. It’s coming back on Trovinho and he holds on to make the play. Oh, he had to dance around the pine tart rag and all the other accuchants in the in the uh on deck circle and somehow made the play. Foul territory, the wind, it affects the baseball where it nothing’s easy and and again when you’re a catcher, got your mask on and you are you’re dodging everything from the on deck circle. This is a really good play by Trevvinho. So congratulations. It’s great. High chopper. Aronado bare hands throws pick. Got him. It’s amazing. It’s amazing. Aronado and Goldie again. Are you kidding me with these two? Look at Goldie’s face. He is amazed by this play as well. This thing goes right off the plate. Has to go with the bare hand and throw a rocket. Oh wow. Ridiculous. [Music] Incredible. Even Goldie, I mean, who rarely smiles in a play like that on the field is like, “Really? Really?” Everybody on the field is saying, “Are you serious right now?” Up the middle and through. Oh, knocked down by Jimenez. And on the flip, they get the force incredibly at second base. Oh, man. You talk about a piece of magic. First of all, I thought it was through to begin with, and then he he gets it and just backhands it, flips it, and gets him. My goodness. That that that play. Oh my gosh. You’re You’re right. It’s magic. I don’t know where that ball came from, but it was right on the money, and Arius happened to be right there at the spot. High fly ball to deep right field, sending Fernando back at the wall. He leaps and makes the catch. Up into the air goes Tatis and he robs him of a home run. Time the leap perfectly and brings it back into the yard. Oh, that is a robbery. Good old fashion snatch it back. Doesn’t get There’s the flash. Look timed perfectly. Suicide squeeze and they got him. Throw to first double play. What a play. I’ll say I think that’s the first suicide squeeze we’ve seen this year. Yeah, I would agree with that. Also, the ball is spinning backwards to him. Yeah, man. That’s huge. It’s so big. Berles line drive caught by Terra for the first double play. Bryce Terang flying through the air and gets Gasser out of the second inning. Leaping, catching, throwing on the run. Another whole play for a future Gold Glover. Off the end of the bat, Junior goes out from short and he’s got it. Wow, that had hit written all over it. And you no other shorts stop gets gets out there like that. Watch him. He turns and runs to the spot. Pete takes one peak, keeps his eye on it. Gloved it perfectly. Oh man, that’s beautiful. What an athlete. Woo! That might have saved the game right there. Takes it the other way and deep back goes Fernando at the wall. He loops. Fernando did it again. He did it again. Trying to turn it into two. Won’t get him, but makes the catch as he robs another home run. I am Nando. That is jawdropping. Actually put his foot in the wall to kind of give him some support and takes a two-run homer away.
