I’m going to blame this on the Curse Wheel and give it no more thought because it’s the option that makes me the least sad.
3,221 days since our last playoff victory and the next one isn’t coming any time soon
While we’ve spent the last 8 years making excuses for Mike Tomlin, the Patriots have rebuilt and are 8-2.
This has to have been the most pathetic offensive showing I have ever seen, even worse than the Canada days. The lack of a WR2 is really starting to show.
If this game was a close loss I would have some hope for the post season, but our defense started clicking right when our offense started shitting…
Our season:

If the Steelers fail to win a playoff game this season, it will be 9 years without a playoff victory. Mike Tomlin will be 3-10 in the playoffs since SB45. Ya’ll laughed at the Bengals for keeping Lewis but defend Tomlin for the same playoff futility. Why?
The usual defense of him is “Who would you get that’s better?” At this point in time? Mike Vrabel, Ben Johnson, Shane Steichen. There are definitely guys we haven’t heard of I’m sure could rebuild and make this team a real contender. The Steelers are one of the most popular sports franchises in the world. They’d have their pick of the litter with head coaching candidates. Guys would trip over themselves for the chance to coach this team.
In 2016, Brady annihilated them in the AFCCG and the Steelers had no answers on defense. In 2017, the team was talking about getting revenge against the Pats in the playoffs and choked to the Jags. They blew a 4 game division lead and missed the playoffs the next year. They started 11-0 in 2020 and got blown out by a team with their coach riding the couch. Next….Blown out by the Chiefs, Bills, and Ravens in the playoffs. How do people still defend Tomlin at this point?
The team is never consistent. They look uninspired, bored, and tired. Stop accepting mediocrity. Stop living in your fears. Demand better from the owners and the team. They can be better. There is not one other team in this league that has wasted more talent over the 15 years. Tomlin needs to go and the Steelers need to commit to finding the next young guy to take over. Even if we suck for a while, at least we’d know the owner and franchise are TRYING. It’s long past time.

Just get on with this season if Steelers are really gonna let 1-5 Ravens take them out
Ravens are 100% winning the division now

Mike T defenders in absolute shambles tonight. This team ain’t making it to 9 wins.
Calvin Austin defenders had the worst quarter of their lives
Honestly, just numb to it now. Absolutely numb
Dread it. Run from it. 9-8 arrives all the same under MT. The standard is the standard

Rodgers was bad tonight. Playcalling stunk. Ee have no receivers that can run good routes. Warren is our best weapon
Maybe one day we will see both the offense and defense play a good game at the same time
Not used to the season collapse before December so this is new territory
regardless of personal change, i feel like i’ve been watching the exact same mid team for the last 5-6 years lmao
We’re the same team we’ve been since Ben retired.
Whether this loss is on Tomlin or not, he has to go. At the very least we need a head coach who holds their players accountable and don’t look completely unprepared in big games. We needed this one and it’s hard to not blackpill on Baltimore taking the division from us.
I’ve run out of things to say, I’d just be repeating myself for the 8th year in a row
This is the reality when we don’t get 6 turnovers against an otherwise good team
Something HAS TO FUCKING CHANGE.
31/32 Coaches would be fired for blowing the division lead like we’re about to do.
We started off 4-1 lol
Bill Belichick was given 4 years after Brady retired to prove himself before he was canned. I really hope the Rooneys will follow suit with Tomlin. But let’s be real
What were the Steelers trying to do on the red zone trip down 15-3? In particular, what were the 2nd and 3rd down plays? Any idea what they were trying to accomplish?
I don’t even understand what they’re trying to do?
Believe what you see. Steelers are a bad team. The Steelers can only win when the opponent gives them the game.
Clumsy, mistake prone team.
One of the worst Steelers game I’ve ever watched
For me, this game is the perfect shining example of the institutional failure of the Pittsburgh Steelers in late era Mike Tomlin. The arrogance of “Steelers football”. Win with defense, offense just doesn’t have to make mistakes. Well for the most part the defense was pretty damn solid tonight, but unfortunately the offense was a complete and utter embarrassment even without Rodgers being shit. Pathetic, conservative playcalling. Happy to settle for long field goals instead of pressing the offense. Complete inability to get back into the game when you fall behind. Spend big bucks for a WR only to have him completely negated by being the only WR worth a damn on the roster. It’s a mentality that spreads to the “offensive” side of special teams as well. They put no value on having a return man who can actually break a return and instead just put any bottom of the roster scrub back there. Kaleb Johnson gets stuck on returns to cover for him being overdrafted despite not returning a kick since 9/9/2023. He screws up so they turn their focus to Gainwell, a sure set of hands with little game breaking ability, and bring in Ke’Shawn Williams who was not a prolific return man in college and returned all of TWO punts in his entire college career. Why the fuck is this dude back there trying to catch some mystical punted knuckle ball in an NFL game? This coaching staff and front office thinks they’re smarter than everyone, that they know more than everyone, that their way will ultimately work, despite all evidence to the contrary, because they say so. They’re just completely and utterly wrong. They suck. They’re outdated dinosaurs destined for eternal existence in the purgatory of “no losing seasons”.
I get trading Pickens if he didn’t want to be here and was a distraction but how do you not replace that production
Gotta start looking at Rooney too. He’s too afraid to do what’s necessary. This coaching staff should have been gone years ago. Dudes gotta have the balls to move on. This ain’t working anymore and hasn’t for years. Like the penguins. New young coach brought a ton of energy to that team. Steelers need the same thing. Tired of Tomlins BS but Rooney is to blame for letting it drag on as long as it has because god forbid, the standard is the standard. 🤬
Tomlin getting pissy during the post game press conference with the legit questions asking what happened.
Blamed attrition.
Art Rooney II is a spineless coward for not firing tomlin already
