  1. Aw damn, he’ll be missed. I remember him vividly during the Richfield days with Price, Daugherty, Nance, Ehlo, Williams, etc. Those teams were my introduction to the Cavs.

  2. RIP. He was the coach of the late ‘70s Sonics team that I followed as a kid, and obviously his career was much more than that. A piece of NBA history.

  3. R.I.P to a HoF legend! 🙏🏼

This man really tried to build a winner in Cleveland. Just couldn’t get past Jordan and the Bulls.

The Hawks stint had a lot of bright spots, just lot of bad luck in the playoffs.

The Raptors stint he came so close in 2001 if Vince Carter makes that shot.

Wish he could’ve gotten one more title outside that Sonics one. He deserved it.

  4. Damn. Lenny was a real one.

Thanks for the great memories you gave me growing up, coach!

  5. I went to some of Lenny Wilkens basketball camps in the early 90s and he was as nice as you saw him on tv. He seemed like a real easy going guy but at the same time when he spoke you listened. Great player and coach, even better person.

  6. Legend as both a player and a coach. The teams he coached in the 80s and 90s are what made me a fan.

  7. Oh no man, not Lenny! I mean, he was 88 so I guess we won’t tear our robes but damn he was one of the best. Cleveland royalty.
