Anaheim Ducks vs. Winnipeg Jets – Game Highlights
white numbers and the Jets in their road whites with blue numbers and so glad to have you along. It’s a rarity. It’s a 7:00 start on a Sunday in part because they got started at 7:00 last night. Krider got a piece of it now digs it off the dasher. Brings it out high. Terry finds some space. One timer from Henderson. Big rebound. Oh, poked away from Krider who then nearly banked it in off of Comry as he scampered back into his goal crease. Unity to open the scoring. Watch this point shot come in from Allison and Conry can’t handle the rebound. I I thought it was the goalender that stopped that. But no, turns out it was I Alex Aalo. I think got his stick. Keeps it in. Flurry’s point shot. Whistles just wide. Kept at the right point momentarily by Luke Shen. Another former Duck and oh great pass over. Tabes got it over. Nemesikov hit the side of the net. Flips it around on the backand. Carlson got a bump on Ford. Ducks get the puck. Trouba’s the open man right side dust it off and fires and comry hangs on. Ducks win the draw. Ian Moore filters it through it. Ricochets to the far side. Mikov activates and keeps it in for a moment. Adam Lowry from behind the net in front. Couldn’t connect with Nita Ryder. I follow gets it back though. And now Nita Ryder goes wide. Throws it on. There’s a shot on goal and stall. Morrisy came over but the loose p again controlled by Anaheim. McTavish goes rink wide off the stick of Ellison. He’ll get it back from Lome as he peruses his way around the zone in front. Senica scores. Well, he deserves that. He’s had so many chances already and the Ducks have a one- nothing lead. He’s finally able to get his shot through. And this was a good cycling chip by Anaheim. And out by the blue line. Senica takes a hit right there. And here comes Mason Mcavish. A little delay. draws two defenders towards himself, creates some space, and then the DGO to work. And what a nice pass from Conor Dochi. That puck was rolling, and Senica boy, he can shoot the puck, can’t he? All in one motion. He as he was out with a high ankle sprain for the first 14 games for the Jets. Had a career year last year with 50 points. They have missed his offense. And Luke Shen’s shot is held by Lucas Do. This is the number one unit just over the boards with Shley and Connor. Now Shley on a given goal, but it’s broken up by Paling along the near boards and Helison will do the honors putting it right on net. Now he gets it back over to Shley in the left circle. Dust it off dropping down low is Valardi to the line. Morris’s shot that didn’t have a lot on it when it got to go stall knocked down and Palin tried to stretch it for Johnston coming out of the box as the Ducks are full strength. Shley brings it back in and a long one-time is deflected out of blank by Doall. Protected by Goce all the way across. Crider gets it to Lome. Quick puck movement. Goce comes off the half wall right back for Jackson. Winds, fires, and doesn’t get there. Great pass by Terry Carlson with the finish. The big sw’s got a lot of finish in it. He sure does. And Troy Cherry is starting to find Leo Carlson a lot more in the offensive zone. They team up again here. This point shot is not going to get through to the goalender. It actually hits Crider. Crider picks it to Terry. Boy, that was a great play by Chris Krider. Gets out of the way. Terry over to Carlson and the duck strike on the power play and it’s two nothing Anaheim. That’s a hardfought assist for Chris Krider. and at 1903 and now riding a 10-game scoring streak. Came into the game the third leading scorer in the National Hockey League. You can see the updated numbers there. Now, who chips it back? Moresy, an offensive defenseman. 60 points or more in each of his last three seasons. Ken circles the net, tries the wraparound, and Comry got over to his right in time. He gets it out. Ducks on the rush again. Doce to Mcameish off the goal post. Moore throws it on net from the point and it’s gobbled up by Comry in this game in the early going. Nice little dish to Mason McAvish from a severe angle. Boy, he had Comry beaten up high. There’s not much room there on this type of angle below the dot. He’s maybe got about 6 in. I mean, he was the complete hockey player for the first 10 15 years of his NHL experience. Not a huge point producer. Here’s Connor in the slot and he’s cut the Ducks lead in half. Yeah, there’s that combination. Chley, Morrisy, and Connor. And against the Winnipeg Jets on the board there for a long, long time. And they really get good reads off one another. There’s that pass into the middle. I’m not so sure that Lucas Dolst saw the release of that puck. It appeared to almost go right through. Boy, Helison all the way to the hash mark to break that one up. He fakes the slap shot now. Keeps it on the wall as he gets crunched by Shley. Shley gets it back. Goce frees it up. Gets it back and shoots. Oh, the rebound for center who scores. Goce doesn’t score with the quick release, but it causes the rebound. Omry did well to make the save but could not control. This is just about persistence. John out of the defensive zone and the puck kept the Jets kept turning it over. Soft play right there and then all of a sudden who else but Goce throws it at the net. Big rebound by Comry. Look at the strength of Becket Senakica. He gets in behind Dylan Dlo. Watch Senica move. Watch him get inside, get the stick over the top, get it on the ice, and chop it past the goalender. Second of the games as the penalty expires to Paling. Just his second minor penalty all year. Here’s a block out high. Goce races after it. Cuts in. Save Comry and he started to come out and play it. Ducks lead three to one with the extra man now as Trouba gets this one through and it’s in the glove on it. See Beckett watch him take a little wave at it. He then circles back for Lome. A lot of open ice for him down the middle. Didn’t put it in the wheelhouse for Goce to the side of the net. Covered and Shifley. They both go up high. Both guys are trapped. And what an opportunity for Anaheim. But unfortunately the pass cutter goce just couldn’t make the adjustment. And you can see what Leo Carlson’s thinking here. And that’s to get the pack puck across to Chris Krider. Was kind of popped. Jets trying to avoid an 0 and3 start to this six-game home stand. Anaheim trying to get a win in their only home game in a span of 12 days here at Honda Center. And they win the draw. Trouba bounces it around into the Winnipeg zone. Pon turns it over behind the net. Oh, good opportunity there. It’s in a minute 10 left in the man advantage. Terry carries in. Converged upon, poked back by Leo. And now Krider gets it to him in the high slot out of a high bumper position. Leo gets it from Crider and he scores. Backto back two goal games for Leo who has arrived. Keep an eye on the entry. looked like it was going to be cleared by Winnipeg. The reach of Carlson kept it alive. The Ducks use that bumper position very effectively. And Chris Krider just kind of loves a little aerial pass that lands flat and Leo Carlson one times it. What the heck? Why not? One minute left as Go Stall keeps it in play. Goce takes the long feed into the middle off the skate of McTavish. Saka back to Goce. He scores. Gets on the board. Starts all the way back with Tuba. Long pass, stretch pass kicked up to the wing. And then that pass by Senakica is drilled right into the wheelhouse of cutter Goce. Look at that pass right through the legs of Perfetti. And it’s a fivehole goal for Cutter Goce. A three-point night for both Senica and Goce and for the Ducks for the They have scored five or more as this one will be contested I believe as potentially an offside entry into the zone. 45 seconds left and Scott Arneal gets word from the Winnipeg locker room to take a look at this. Yeah, you can see by the situation at 48.6 seconds remaining. The play was offside. Therefore, we have no goal. And if you wonder why the fans are so upset, it’s because there’s an in-house promotion that would have resulted in free chicken sandwiches on the fifth goal. and Mason McTavish and the video coach of the and the fourth line to finish the game for Anaheim. It was not the puck I’m being told. It was actually a piece of his skate that he had in his hand. Well, either way, the win streak reaches seven. Anaheim has won nine of 10 and extended their lead at top the Pacific Division.

Can't score, can't play D, this team does not scare anyone.
It’s a .500 team at best. Why do they keep Chevy. Toews experiment is over and it was nice but it failed. Was great in the day but that was then. No trades in summer and lose Ehlers. What did we expect.
Well… SEASONS OVER
