  2. Genuinely will never forgive Shad for being gifted the most highly touted QB prospect since Luck and deciding a tandem of Trent Baalke and Urban Meyer would be great complements.

  5. Trevor may not be generational but looking back at the 2021 draft, would you swap Trevor for any of the 1st rd QBs? And Mac jones is in a good system, we’ve seen how he looks in our system

  6. I’m far from Trevor fan at all, but I’m actually really surprised to see it that low. Just watching him and a little bit of random football I would’ve guessed he would be considered middle of the pack.

    Regardless I’m looking forward to seeing whatever random stat Trevor fans will come up. This board has taught me that there are so many new quarterbacks stats that you can make up whatever narrative you want of a quarterback

  10. The bottom line is you have a GM and Coach who are on different timelines than the QB. They didn’t draft him so they are not tied to him.

    I think he gets another year but that’s dependent on how the rest of this year goes

  11. Let’s add another 5 receivers and do nothing with the offensive line. That should fix it

  12. Trade him to the Browns, draft a QB, and sign a veteran to mentor. Teams do this every year.

  13. 6.3 YPA is dreadful and not starter level. It is easily his worst number since rookie season.

    Otherwise he’s typically been 7.0 range, which is decent but typically not someone you’ll be satisfied with.

Remember, if you throw stats out there showing the truth about Trevor his disillusioned supporters will throw back some stat about how he wins most of the coin tosses before the game so he’s a franchise QB. This guy is so bad but we literally blame every other player on this team except for Trevor for why he plays the way he does.

    The team needs to figure out how to get out of this contract somehow and I truly believe they will and we will see he is not a franchise QB.

    I’ll leave this here with everyone to think about. If Patrick Mahomes was put on the trade block in the offseason how many teams would line up to trade multiple high draft picks plus gladly pay his $50+ million dollar salary. How about Lamar Jackson, or Josh Allen, or even Jared Goff, Justin Herbert or Matthew Stafford.

    Now think about this; who would trade even a late round pick for Trevor Lawrence? Jacksonville is so screwed they are going to have to trade him and some premium draft capital to take that cap hit to even give the team the chance to sign other players or absorb most of his salary and guarantees to get someone to take him.

  18. Don’t find this surprising honestly, he doesn’t seem like he can even go thru his progressions. If his first receiver (that he’s gonna stare down the entire time) isn’t open then shits prob about to get ugly/forced.
